My issue is that a nothing burger to me in this scenario is like 3 scenarios:

1. He tries to organize a convention after party with groupies and accidentally invites someone underage who replies they can’t/ don’t drink. Someone in the DMs asks why, it gets reported.

2. DM’s/ gets DM’s from someone underage under the assumption they are of age, the person gets flagged and all their DM’s are investigated because they broke terms

3. Jeremy Clarkson-esque scenario where he finds out the kid is underage and reports them due to personal beliefs about kids being online or some shit. Gets canned because he violated some agreement about not talking to underage kids in Whisper.

The suspect shit is that if Twitch knew about him trying to fuck a minor then they are legally fucked. NDA’s don’t cover actual criminal activity and if they tried covering it up that’s really fucked.
The only issue is that the Civil trial makes me think it was utterly minor in reality. That makes me think it was an embarrassment where some fan got into multiple people’s DM’s and they managed to beg for a ticket along with an invitation to an after party.

I hope that is the case. The Rekieta shit is dark enough and I really just want this to be a case where nothing actually happens and we all get to hate the press more.

The funniest possible outcome would be an underage catfish sending fake nudes and was running wild on Twitch or some shit.

Even when there’s significant evidence, like with Russel Brand, it’s never good enough. That’s why most of these crimes never go to trial. The legal standard of evidence is biased against sex crimes as it usually only involves 2 people, so doubt is always there. This is studied and taught in law school for good reason.

Having done plenty of cons when I was younger; I know "talking hot to minors" ended when ages were found out.
