The current form of the American government is a far cry from what the founding fathers either intended or created. For starters 90% of the current voting population should not be voting. Either because they are white men without land, women, non-white, non-christian or homosexual. I don't think a two party system is inevitable, but is the most likely outcome given those in powers tendency to resist weakening their own power. A three hundred million plus republic ought to be able to create more than two political parties and would do so if the house wasn't capped at 435 members as opposed to the 10,500 thousand we ought to have. Oligarchies form where power is constrained in the fewest hands possible.
Go back to pol faggot.

This is funny, liberal Clinton hack Stephanopoulous is married to Ali Wentworth (Jerry's Shmoopy girlfriend from the Soup Nazi episode) and she said they would move to Australia if Trump won in 2016, but they didn't. I wonder if now it's too obvious and he's gonna run away.

Here's a green light for Joepedo to talk , because he doesn't understand time or numbers.

I would hope Trump team check to make sure Trump's A/C isn't off while Joepedo has it full blast.
I like the theory that the green light is solely for Biden's sake. Beyond that I dont mind the other changes on their own. Politics where people interrupt each other constantly is not 'civil discourse'. It is not dignified, nor is it particularly productive.

Though they can still abuse it. Imagine if Trump starts getting into it with a moderator and they quiet him down

Three elections in a row, this is going on in Arizona. Anyone who denies fraud is a thing is completely delusional.
Should election workers be bullied?

Civility in politics is an invention of worms who want the public to believe that politicians' shit don't stink.

Fuck civility. Our elected officials used to duel to the death and have fisticuffs in the Capitol. Make Politics Ballsy Again.

Fuck civility and fuck dignity, I want a politician who will drag his opponent into the mud and fight for his constituents.

You mean like every debate Trumps been in were the moderator starts sucking off Trump's opponent? Being civil only works when all parties involved to be so, otherwise you are just cucking.

And it's certainly not "presidential"

But then why watch or participate or lend it any importance of any kind then? Might as well just not show up if its nothing more than a battle of personality. Is Maury still alive? Maybe he should conduct the next debate it would probably be every bit as informative. I submit that these debates are functionally useless and exist only because they always have. There's no reason Presidential candidates cant just discord call like online bloodsports and cut out the journalist middleman entirely

I think their entire plan hinges on CNN having full control over what gets seen by the public. That plan just needs one viral clip to be ruined
Youtube is already preemptively contacting righty political streamers and telling them don't dare stream CNN's speech or they will DMCA them. Youtube is in on the game. Any clips will be removed.

I believe Elon has preemptively told CNN to go fuck themselves.

I think Churchill said it best;

(summarized)

Democracy is a terrible, terrible system doomed to create strife and corruption. It's 3 wolves and a sheep voting on whose for dinner.

But it's the best system we have so far.

And he's right compared to how Communism, Fascism and Monarchy all turned out Democracy has allowed for the best stand of living for the largest amount of people. The trick is like all systems Democracy need a hard re-boot every now and then, when it becomes too corrupt, too burdened with bureaucracy and overwhelmed with the needs of the elites over the need of the people.
I'm not convinced of Churchill's point. For one, Best of the Worst is not an argument of quality as we see in any BotW video. Second, if Republics were so great, the Romans would not have ceded theirs to Caesars and politically castrate the Senate. Why? Because their Republic did not serve its people adequately and saw the need for an alternative, which happened to be a monarchy. Even after the lineage of Caesar waned, what replaced it was not a democracy, but a series of warlord fiefdoms. The gap between the fall of the Republic was in 27 BC and the American experiment happens for real in 1787, meaning that for thousands of years, people did not choose for a democracy of any sort while monarchies rose and fell with their lineages the entire time. No one back then argued for anarcho-communist syndicates and chose the guys that got their swords from random magic women. Meaning that the scary armored men had more legitimate authority than the plebs that might have wanted anarcho-communism.

It remains to be seen if Timcast will broadcast it or not. I say they'll just do it for Rumble and leave it at that as the wrath of Youtube petrifies the Beanie Boy despite his talk.

Yes, this is an objective case of journalists playing favorites instead of acting as a neutral party. Had debates functioned as a quick source of reasonable arguments, it would actually serve some informative use. What we have now is, for Americans anyways, is proof that reason is not a form of persuasion. If you can make the audience laugh, that bypasses logic entirely. If you make them fearful, that also bypasses logic. Debate is built on an Enlightenment premise and it's completely wrong as to how people behave or desire. And Democracy is built on what people desire, not what is good for them. The problem the Uniparty has is that they don't know what's good for its constituents and have a terrible vision of waging war on anyone that does not agree with them.

You've kind of grossly oversimplified the history of western civilization, left a lot of shit out there

Plus saying that the Roman republic fell because "the people" wanted it to is a very weird and incorrect thing to say

Well sheeeit the Enlightenment just got destroyed by facts and logic. Good thing it's already been out of favor for a while, otherwise a lot of eggheads would be out of jobs

Political power always flows from the barrel of the gun. The majority always has access to force via their greater numbers and farming implements, but let the scary people wearing armor tell them what to do. The refusal to resist is as much of a choice as an active one. Don't like the King because the whole idea of Monarchy is faggotry? Kill him and run the syndicalist commune. That these sorts of governments are rare throughout history indicates they are not what people want. That's what people really mean when they say, "I just want to grill." It's a ceding of authority to someone else.

How can that be true when guns have only been around for several hundred years

That's the level I feel we're at when I read things like this

In any context, how many times have you, ummm, 'resisted' in your life? Were they as simple as you talk about here? Everything you say seems very simple
That's pretty fucking rich from a guy who never won an election.
Far as I was aware, Winny won many elections for seats in Parliament. By plurality and simple majority. Also lost several of them. Plus he won the general election of 1951, after losing badly in 1945

And losing again but doing very well with his Party gaining 90 seats in 1950

Have political ads started in your area? The only one I'm seeing right now, from a likely abortion group, is targeting the Republican nominee for NC governor by scaring women about the crazy black man who will force them to have babies and they should vote for their (((white))) savior.
I saw an attack ad on Sheehy, the Republican candidate for Montana Senate. It was during a Seattle Mariners game. That has to be one expensive ad buy, considering only a small fraction of the viewers are even in Montana.

No? That is stupidity. The actual act is in the name. -Attempted- Murder. An attempt was made, with the intent to murder. That is not a hypothetical that is having tried and failed.
So what you're saying is electoral fraud is a crime, but attempted electoral fraud is not. Pressuring social media companies into censoring information is a crime, but not if they resist the pressure.

I think my Attempted Murder parallel is a good one - the argument that something is only bad if it leads to harm rules out failed attempts. There are many laws where the attempt is itself a crime. But not electoral fraud? Not censorship or extortion?

No the trick is to keep the banking system state owned and get rid of usury. That's how you get a prospering country. Tends to piss off the money changers and lead to war though.

It will be Vivek. It’s already been tactlessly hinted at officially.

I thought it was an unknown.
