I can imagine him trying himself a lil 'Tactical Munch', to attempt to test the male / female wards thing and start a shit show at a hospital, and get some martyr attention.

It will be a problem getting through triage though into an actual bed/ward situ, so he'd have to be either very clever about it (doubtful) or do something genuinely self injurious to a moderately severe degree.

Rowling has announced appointments related to the Harry Potter series in the works. Cue lots of far-rightwingers that have gravitated towards her in recent months begging her not to make Harry Potter "woke" because it's the last franchise that is non-woke. I suspect they are in for a lot of disappointment. Harry Potter is "woke" in all the ways they mean except trans.

I think as long as they don't do race swaps and don't make everyone gay, people will already be happy. Or add any current year dialogue about the evil cishet patriarchy or nonsense like that. When I hear "woke" I think of the current DEI plague in all media and HP is far from that.

Honestly?

While a good deal of the motivation is likely to be that she is a woman and the rest are men, it seems that they are most wounded that Harry Potter wasn’t a secret trans analogy.

The overwhelming majority of these fuckers go on about how they are no longer Potter fans because of her, so that’s probably a main factor.

But yes, I don’t discount the fact they are scared of men.

One thing some claimed that the reason there was more objection to men in dresses rather than women in trousers is that the transphobic men feared they could be beaten up by a transwoman.
I think that actually is a case of when they say who they are, listen.

Chapelle got a lot more attention than the other two and I think it comes down to how relevant they are in current media. Chapelle has ongoing stuff, Gervais has some stuff but not to the same degree in the circles they follow and Cleese has the disastrous Fawlty Towers reboot. And I am fine with my prediction about that.

JK however remains relevant. Warner planning a new series, Hogwarts Legacy, bad as they were even the Fantastic Beasts stuff means stuff by her and making money kept going.

The rampant misogyny is a factor too of course.
