People are still mad at the gate keeper meme of social media.

Just a question, so what are you both doing since you are based voting abstainers doing to push our country to the right? Or are you foreign? Or was this meme made about you?

I reserve a special kind of hatred for people like you. In part, because I was like this ages ago and looking back, it makes me cringe.
That meme is unironically true, in spirit.
Realistically, you, NiggerFaggot#1488 will never amount to anything politically.
You see, modern democracy is a farce. There are differences from country to country, but South Park had it right that it's between a Turd Sandwich and a Giant Douche. It's a circus and a game meant to mock you. When you don't vote (aka sit on your ass) you indicate that you refuse to be part of the monkey show.
You voting is giving the entire farce legitimacy. That is why you see this push everywhere, where they are urging the masses to go out to vote. Because the action in itself is a form of consent. You are saying that you approve the current system and wish to see it continue.
Your vote does not matter, but your presence does.
And let's also address another topic.
Unless you hold great financial power and ownership over certain industries, you will never change shit.
I've seen it plenty of times with plebs who got this political animal spur.
They will do blogs, they will do podcasts, they will do camps, they will do meetings, but it never amounts to anything.
On the other hand, people with money and power get together behind closed doors, shake hands and finance people and places that they wish to promote something.
So, coming back to you, NiggerFaggot#1488 who can't and won't do anything worthwhile, what is the solution? Do we drown in apathy?
Fuck no.
Whatever shit you believe in, you educate your little shits and you work towards financial and political power, so that maybe, in a couple of generations, some scion of NiggerFaggot dynasty will implement your dream. That is the smart and realistic approach to change, coming from some commoner.
And it sure as shit ain't voting.

The sound during the stream always sounds a little quiet to me, but I just pump up the volume from 20 to 40 on my PC while listening. Handbrake might be normalizing the volume but, if it is, that is news to me. Here's a secret, I'm sort of retarded - I don't really know much about audio processing, video doofering, or any of that. I just learn this stuff as needs dictate. If I'm editing the stream in Shotcut I don't usually normalize the volume - I only put it up a smidgen for the last stream due to complaints. I can run future archives through Shotcut and add audio normalization if that is something people want.

Since there is such a variety of opinions though I'd either do a prestream test like people suggest or just bump it up a little - make it -5db instead of the -10db mentioned. Please note I know nothing, as previously mentioned. I'd be interested to know how many of the people complaining are on PC vs mobile since phones likely have lower volume maximums.

I started posting the catbox mp3s when the official MATI podcast feed was not updating last year. Now that the feed is back, it is preferable to download/archive the versions from there because they've been processed and edited by Null. The mp3s I post are a quick and dirty rip of the rumble or vk stream with no audio processing applied for those that want a quick way to listen shortly after the show.

On another topic:

They've now switched to Stripe for identity verification.

Nigger your stand have been quiet for a long time now. I had to put my volume to 70% when watching on kick, same with mati 404 recordings on yt. Inn the beginning of the stream your voice was actually fine but you then changed it back in your tantrum.
What are you talking about? There's a fucking knob and I raised it. I didn't lower it back. I had to physically stand up and replace the cord for the Focusrite because I was using a different one.

I think you’d need to rip the odysneed stream because the other ones are over compressed or something

Some setting is sending light audio to those

I know some audio engineers that I will bug and get some recommendations about setting levels

from what I remember you set everything to 0 (on a mixing board all knobs in the middle) and then fuck with the signal as needed

I don't have a mixing board. What I have is an informal setup and a professional mic that requires both careful volume settings and also a rigid mic presence that I don't have because I lean and adjust in an uncomfortable chair in a small cramped hot as fuck room with no fan because the fan picks up. The focusrite is plugged and unplugged every stream because I am sharing a USB cable with my phone and the other I have I don't think has the 60W needed for the Focusrite to properly amp the volume. That's why I changed the cord. When I change the cord it's also bumping around in a shelf which fucks with the knobs. It's a nightmare to fucking deal with and I hate fucking with it and when hundreds of people are spamming chat that I'm too quiet it's fucking annoying. I don't know why this is so hard to get.

I think you and most people talking about the volume levels are overthinking a very simple issue.
The problem last stream was literally that the stream was too quiet.
You could have simply opened your own stream, listened to yourself talk, looked at an input db meter to see how much you needed to boost it by and add a gain filter to your mic input to boost it by about 9db.

Troubleshooting livestreams is a nightmare, especially on places like Twitch (not sure about rumble or kick) where you have to go live to actually see and hear the final result. I had to help a friend with audio stuff a few years back and we ended up making a dummy account to test everything on so she wouldnt go live troubleshooting for hours.

I wont try to give null any advice on it, its one of the most frustrating feelings in the world to have random idiots tell you what to do about a setup they know nothing about. On the Tuesday stream it seemed fine after he futzed around with it at the start, but I was listening with my laptop speakers.

The OBS monitor registered me in the yellow, which is where you shoot for, and I have audio playback on my headset which I could hear myself speak. This is how I check every stream.

Everything into OBS was fine because it was fixed in post (the Audio engineers hate me saying we’ll fix everything in post lol) - it was the OBS output to whatever multi stream Tool you use that was low. I blame musk.

In the last stream you are barely hitting yellow most of the time you talk in a normal voice.
Check the settings of whatever restreaming service you're using to see if it fucks with the volume?
