Team Fortress 2 Community - A free-to-play dress up game for grownups, gameplay fully automated! Waiting to be mercy killed...

A large ban wave just happened supposedly, just a part of the recent valve cycle of doing little things to get the community off their backs. This time though I don't think the community will just worship them for it.

Nice gambling ads, same as Delfy.

For what it's worth I appreciate the time whoever at Valve has put in to do this, even if it's likely not going to last too long.

How can someone play the same fucking missions over and over again like that? How do you not move on to shit like community mvm, or just quit mvm alltogether?
Gambling addiction and ego. I bet he's one of those people who kick Mann Up cheaters, because "muh principles" just so he has to re-do the same braindead map for 3000th time. Let's see how he's totally NOT addicted according to himself.

Level is tour count. Each Two Cities tour consists of 4 maps, so 1812 tickets were used. That's 1812$ spent on tickets.

161 x 4 = 644$

120 x 6 = 720$

So he spent ~3200$ on tickets alone. And if we round up a single map to ~30 minutes that's 1600 hours wasted playing a more elaborate slot machine. At least people gambling with keys don't waste ~2h per one opening. But on positive side he's a professional in a super easy gamemode where everyone turns their brains off and listens to something actually entertaining in other window.

I remember stockpiling mvm tickets from the christmas stockings and only completing my favorite missions instead of the whole tour so I could replay them whenever I wanted instead of paying valve for the privilege of playing with competent people. Weezy's fucking insane for spending this much on a slot machine that only spits out pennies.

I could understand if it was years ago and you could reasonably profit from the drops (and "reinvest" them in the form of selling them to buy tickets) but with how many cheaters and cheater assisters there are speedrunning these missions the value of the drops has plummeted. I don't know if the expected value was ever positive but it's definitely extremely negative now. You might as well just play Boot Camp over and over if you actually enjoy the missions.

So in other words, when they were preparing for a potential boycott Weezy stocked up on micro-transactions.
There's also been a rumor that the #SaveTF2 and #FixTF2 signatures were almost all botted, and they tried to save face on twitter (If this was already mentioned feel free to late react)

I swear, is anything of TF2 not botted at this rate? The inflated playercount was 90% bots, the matches are full of bots, Tacobots terrorize players from doing PVE content... I think TF2 players need to stop huffing the schizo fumes and finally wake up from their delusions. Game's dead and its currently ran by a scummy community (if the weezy accusations and the signature accusations are true).

I believe change.org has protections against botted signatures. This is probably a reason why they created an entire site for a petition.

>TF2 soytubers make dozens and dozens of videos begging Valve to get rid of the bots
>nothing happens
>Reddit autists begin making Omegatronic porn
>banwave happens a few days later

I don't like the precedent that's being set here.
