Jesus 95% of the characters are just essentially t-posing in most of the released shots of this shit.

Only thing thats a bit nice is the background art.

Looks exactly like those images deviantart autists make when they just slap a billion OCs on a background. This is what TV animation has been reduced down to.

Pibby sucked and wasn't worth the energy. The april fools glitches were fun but there wasn't any depth to the idea. It wasn't even animated that well.

They really thought this retarded short was gonna become a show, the "trailer" wasn't even animated as if it was taken from a show, it was clearly a short edited to be like a trailer. There's nothing inspired about it if you've spent like five minutes reading any creepypasta or "cursed" media.

Sad thing is the idea was definitely there, sure it's next to impossible to separate the idea of a "big family cartoon'' from being derivative of loud house but if what she saying is true then being inspired by her own life could have worked for an enduring show..the problem of this is current year. And this couldn't just be a show made to retell ones life story albeit with sone creative freedom. No no no, kline had to go and be a loud mouth prentious prick who did everything wrong when it comes to making a show.



The designs are lazy, the writing seems clichie and hack, and the obligatory wokeshit talking points all hit. Topped off with the creator not taking the rightfully earned blowback with grace and instead saying "anyone who bad mouths my show is a hateful incell bigot who hates Spanish people!"

This thread makes me miss when I watched Looney Tunes re-runs on Cartoon Network as a little lad. Bugs with his Liberace impression in Hyde and Hare (and the Jekyll creature was scary on its own), and one of the others had depressed, homeless, washed-up actors reciting Vaudeville (Mammy, and so on) and Shakespeare lines in the park.

No way would they show any of that, and I'm 99.9% positive they don't, anyway, even though drooling kids won't have any fucking clue what any of it means. I sure as bloody fuck didn't, and when I cottoned on in my more "mature" years, starting at least from what I was 16-17+, I laughed even harder at the jokes.

Shit... I've just realised something else, speaking of further wokery, I used to wonder what the fuck happened to Johnny Bravo, and then I remembered his constant flirting.

I had assumed Johnny Bravo, like all the millennial cartoons, just ran its course and ended. I'd much rather it stay ended and not be rebooted into some angle-avoidant garbage mess like what they did to the Powerpuff Girls, thank you.

Yeah, Johnny had a good run and even a Bollywood revival of all things. Leave the revivals to the story-driven shows that might have more to show, not the funny episodic ones who gracefully ended.

I don't think anyone cares but Megamind Rules! had a "second season" and for what it is is massive improvement over both vs. the Crime Syndicate and the "first season", not saying is up to the quality of the movie tho.

Each episode is about Megamind's arc on how he feels about being a hero since the made-up mentor for this show degraded him back to villain. The last four episodes or so are an arc of everyone being corrupted and Megamind using the power of love to save the day. Sounds corny, right? What if I told you that all of this happens because the villain voiced by Adam Lambert isn't an idiot and keeps getting ahead of Megamind while not breaking the script? Last four episodes, if you watched this shit back in March consider this your palette cleanser.

Is it true that Metro Man had a special stone since birth that allows him to completely strip himself of his powers? Something that kind of fucks with his entire deal about feeling forced to be a hero because of his powers in the movie?

That fact that Pibby fans treat it like the biggest missed opportunity in Cartoon Network's history or as if Pibby alone proves no animation is safe proves how little animation they actually watch. Pibby isn't the biggest CN loss in the last 5 years, let alone the history of the channel. It reminds of this faggot I know irl that spent about 15 lamenting Inside Job was cancelled with two seasons, and I'm here trying to repress the manic laughter at how many better shows at best got one season (which in modern animation terms means they never actually had support) or never made it past the pilot. The only positive VivziePop shows will bring is making suits realise you can make merch for cartoons other than tees and that's the only positive I can think of because I'm almost certain Season 2 will be a major downgrade animation wise.

All you need to know about those videos is that the copeout that if HH had more episodes it could've been better is that, a copeout. Vivzie and her team can't write for shit or don't want to, and thanks to our zeitgeist don't need to. I have read posts in the HH thread that have a better idea of how to use the world than Vivz.

EDIT: @TheAmbiguousLurker didn't see your post before lol. Yes, the special stone is true and its used for two episodes. In one is used to swap Music Man's and Megamind's powers so they can perform better at their jobs (Megamind can more easily tackle the baddie of the episode but can't plan for shit whereas Music Man can compose music but only for dogs). They go back to normal but the brain guy steals the rock and uses it for the finale.
