Generation Z, "Ironic" Degeneracy, Sadism, and Discord - Not a fun thread

  • 🐕 I am attempting to get the site runnning as fast as possible. If you are experiencing slow page load times, please report it.
I've been there. And I'm not a good person for it, I really am not.
If it helps any being able to recognize and acknowledge makes you head and shoulders better then most who are still in it.

Your experience mirrors alot of mine as well (and likely many others here and beyond who don't want to say). Toe in the water of online degeneracy and stupidity unaware of the rip tide to pull you in, all you need is that right nudge to push off. Thank God I hated chatrooms where it likely comes from for the 90% who did get sucked in.

In my opinion it's even worse now. We were just stupid kids playing with fire. Now it's all fucking groomers who actively look for prey.

Gen Z fascinates and disgusts me.

The fascination stems from watching in real time some of the theories I am currently reading about and thinking about play out in real time. Specifically, theories about how we as a postmodern society have largely discarded religion and spirituality and are reckoning with the resulting issues of not filling the social utility they served particularly well. As a result it is difficult to form macroscopic affiliations of united beliefs, morals, and cultural expressions since the death of both religion and nationalism from mainstream Western society. Currently we see facsimiles of these things in political affiliations and Internet subcultures, and this seems to have directly shaped the philosophical and cultural outlook of Gen Z. Instead of placing these macroscopic affiliations, their values, principles, and virtues above all else, there only remains the cult of Self. The social media generation shows that between venerating a godhead, nation, or moral system above oneself, humankind would rather choose placing Internet veneration over what is best for themselves and society. Tiktok and Instagram dopamine are the true currency of the day.

That is to say, this is not necessarily Gen Z's fault, but rather they are an interesting case study in the ultimate aggregation of this effect. That kind of choice and the amount of people, both within Gen Z and without rather disgusts me, tbh.

Furthermore, this article details a "Class system" used by those internal to these groups that basically denotes how edgy someone is. Higher the class, higher the edge. The highest classes are actual terror groups like 764. It seems that there is an edge pecking order amongst these people. If higher rank in the pecking order implies a level of prestige, then that means that these groups are self-filtering for criminality.
The class system in the article isn't used by the groups internally. I guess it's a somewhat useful method of categorizing these groups from the outside but no one associated with these communities personally uses it.

The thing that is used by some of these groups is the 'grade' system, also detailed in the article, which was invented by a guy in 2020 to make certain users of the communities feel better about themselves despite their insistence that it's "purely a method of categorizing different groups of servers." It's only really used by the "C-Grade" folks though.

Regardless, the system they use appears to describe something observable - Anyone who has spent a considerable amount of time on Discord knows exactly what the article is talking about when it mentions "O-Grade" -- as those wannabe hacker rich kid servers, with much less emphasis on the edginess in their profiles and names and generally not using much unicode (still hilariously edgy in a different way). The "C-Graders" often use Chan lingo or their own sort of weird speak while the "O-Graders" speak more normally for Gen-Z. In the initial encounters between the two in 2021 they bullied the "O-Graders" for speaking in ebonics.

Happy to elaborate on any other questions you may have.

This article, if its contents are to be believed seems to be the ace in the hole to prove that this is a real phenomenon that's not only been documented, but also has a name and specific aesthetic behind it, meaning that my search into symbolism was a good tactic to finding these groups. @Sprate Header, I suggest you look into either changing this article in light of this information to hone in more on these groups as a topic, or start a new one with more of a focus on these groups.
I do think the analysis of this sphere's symbology warrants a quote or mention in the OP (which I'll get around to adding eventually), but stuff like the "class system" rings more so of spergy autists making edits to the page that they think make them sound more mysterious and epic, rather than an actual underground method of classifying themselves that we've just never heard of.

It seems to me like a simple classification system made up to keep groups separated. I'm not sure there is an actual hierarchy to it, but it is instead an identifier. Lots of this seems to make up raid/clan communities where they raid servers and post very disgusting content in an attempt to gain a reaction. Possibly another place that must be further investigated.

@LarpBait @Sprate Header
Due to the accuracy of the Yuri article, and his legal name, (which isn't something of public knowledge); the article leans to being very much accurate. Especially considering the ties with CVLT/Slitbunnies/Harm Nation (The first ran by Kamala Limkin, the last ran by Richard Densmore)
Rare open window here, would highly recommend archiving everything, including history. I believe the article tells a lot, but not 100% everything. Regardless, mine away.

Even if this is just posturing for attention, it does imply there is an internal cultural and moral divide between people who participate in Larpcore, so much so that a classifying method exists. The UTTP aren't Foodists, and the Foodists aren't 764. These groups recognize that and denote groups as "others" because of it. The "othering" implies that on some level, different groups view other groups as being better or worse and feel a need to compete rather than cooperate with each other despite all of them targeting the same groups: cringe and underdeveloped people.

I hope that groups that are more benign have a hatred towards the ones that are more extreme (what the article refers to as "post-trolls"). That would imply some level of self-regulation and decency to oust people who cross a moral line. If that's the case, then these lower groups, who perhaps have more intimacy with the criminal groups, can whistle blow the next trolling group turned terror organization.

What I fear is that the more edgy and morally evil a group is, the more it's seen as prestigious, great, or good to get into. The last thing this world needs is for the idiots doing UTTP "trolling" to devolve into criminal pedosadists and swatters for internet clout. Given that these groups are largely made up of disaffected youth with nothing to lose and no moral backing, I can forsee a pipeline where largely innocent zoomers just "doing it for the lulz" end up going from ween to criminal because some seigetard on discord.com told them to.

This reads like a larp. Where are the gen z terrorist discords? Why would there be a class system to being fucked up on the internet?

Not to be a nerd but I bet the majority of these people aren't even Gen Z, More Gen Alpha. Not sure how many people know but Gen Z starts in 1997. Some Zoomers are in there late 20's
:stress:
Gen Alpha started in 2010-2011, I doubt that a 13yo at the latest has a prominent position within these groups, as the Foodists have been active for at least two years by now. But there's a 100% chance that some of the people involved here a alphas

Where are the gen z terrorist discords?
While I agree the class system reads more like self-aggrandizing autism, 764 and it's various offshoot groups that have had involvement in a nonzero amount of actual murders and are being actively hunted by the FBI would probably qualify as a terrorist group by most people's definition of the word.

That would be in the Grade 9-10 groups; 764, CVLT, 676, Sew3r, etc.
>Edgecore and CSAM extortion and proliferation isn't domestic terrorism.
No, but it is extremely fucked up and will be prosecuted to an extreme amount.
>where's the domestic and/or foreign terrorism?
That would be in the spillover from these Grade 9/10 groups due to their proximity to various COM groups that regularly engage in domestic and foreign terrorism, please see MKU, O9A, PNNW, Monkey Mafia, and to a lesser extent SKD and AWD. There is also some crossover with Terrorgram Collective, which is a Com collective of your usual kind of people, alt- right neo nazi, hyperborea fascist types who had a very big part to play in both the Buffalo and New Zealand shootings; (Via 8 and 4 chan) to a lesser extent, the Jacksonville Shooting, and the beheading of a government worker. (Both Soyjak Party affiliated things)
>So wait, it's all Neo Nazis/White Power Supremacists?
Pretty much, and Satanists; however they prefer the term "Odinists and Pagans". The Odinist/NN/WPS side comes from a particular loud bunch of homosexual prisoners who decided to fuck with religious freedoms, and created their own little community off the grid that leeched out into the public quorum, that got mixed in with Neo Nazis operating out of Middle Europe, mostly Ukraine. The Satanist side of it came later, and recently, there have been Islamic influences being introduced to it via ISIS like cell recruiters.
>Seems like a stretch that someone leaves a bad comment on Youtube = Part of a Neo Nazi Satanic Terrorist Organization
Yeah, and that is; which is why the grades exist; do you want to know why children are part of the lower grade stuff? Because most countries won't prosecute minors for this stuff. They start the kids on lower grade stuff, and bump them up through the various grades, once they "graduate" they are inducted into the higher tier stuff that oversees the indoctrination of new users.
>For what purpose?
Beats me. Terrorists are going to do terrorist things because they are terrorists. The Satanists do it because they are faggots who hate everything, and themselves. The Odinists do it because "Uh, non white people are bad" The Neo Nazis do it because they are contrarian fucks who hate themselves, and non white people are bad. The Islamics do it because "Death to the Great Satan,"
>Sounds glowy as fuck
Like you wouldn't fucking believe, however bear in mind; there are a lot of glow operations because there are a lot of countries. You should really be focusing on where the origin of the glow comes from, which you'll find is mostly Middle Eastern, Middle European, and Chinese; with some various dashes of American, British, and Australian mixed in here and there.

Go watch Gremlins. They put little green monsters in blenders, microwave them and a guy gets run down by a snow plow and it was very popular with kids in the 80s and 90s.
Cool, I saw a man's face reduced to ribbons by a shotgun on rotten.com before I turned 13. Trying to argue that "older generations saw fucked up stuff too" isn't particularly convincing to anyone under the age of 30. There are subreddits dedicated to watching and laughing at 1080p drone videos of Russian/Ukrainian men getting helplessly turned into ground beef while sobbing and pissing themselves, and you had better believe that kids aren't stopped by a warning telling them that they need to be 18 to see it. The world has changed, and "robocop was really violent though" isn't fooling anyone.

@Suenonym you got to be joking about a group called the monkey mafia being a terrorist organisation, right?. Also how was the sharty related to a beheading?

You have the base layout of the groups generally correct @Suenonym, but there isn't an intentional, designed pipeline set up by the feds to funnel comment-spamming children into domestic terrorism. It's just the case that engaging in "ironic" degeneracy desensitizes kids to said degeneracy to the point they engage in more and more depraved shit over time, and they also begin to do so unironically. Once the switch happens, their behavior becomes more and more extreme, and they'll either move to start their own group or join one of the more extreme pre-existing ones.

Monkey Mafia is a swatting group that usually targets big streamers. Torswats was trying to get into contact with them at one point.

Pretty much everything said in this section is untrue. Terrorgram Collective is a group of SIEGE-posters on Telegram who are best known for writing a couple of books about their ideology (accelerationism, ecofascism, AWD type shit). They are not at all a Com community, and have directly spoken out against them. The only shooter to have direct ties to them is the 2022 Bratislava shooter who killed 2 fags at a gay bar before killing himself (he directly mentions them by name as an inspiration in his manifesto). The Jacksonville shooter was a frequent poster and lurker on the Sharty, i’ll give you that, but the schizo who chopped off his dads head was just some conservative LARPer who only used the Internet to promote his bad rap music and shitty books.
