"Under our constitutional structure of separated powers, the nature of Presidential power entitles a former President to absolute immunity from criminal prosecution for actions within his conclusive and preclusive constitutional authority. And he is entitled to at least presumptive immunity from prosecution for all his official acts. There is no immunity for unofficial acts"

TRUMP WON
Does that mean 1/6 was constitutional? What does this verdict mean?

From my incredibly limited understanding it seems to be this;

If the job is part of the President's official work it's not a crime. Drone striking civilians for example is murder when mere mortals do it.

The President cannot just say "it's my job." However in turn prosecutors cannot just say "it's not part of their job!" The first part of bringing any case is proving it's not part of their job. Drone striking possible terrorists and making mistakes is understandable. Drone striking the delivery guy on his way away from your home because the 20 nugget box was one short is not.

Well, I'd say, it was. But that aside, it means that Trump can't be prosecuted for his usage of core (unique) constitutional powers (unless it was done purely in his own self interest), and is presumed to have immunity for any action he took in powers that are not solely his (ones he shares with Congress for example). A core constitutional power would be directing an army, or directing DoJ to investigate Voter Fraud (as the Supreme Court found)

DoJ:

Purely self interest:

Him talking to the Department of Justice to investigate election fraud is completely thrown out, everything else, taking to Pence, to State officials, and his speech beforehand, has to have hearings in court to determine if there were official Acts of the President and not personal acts of Donald Trump., before anything on the case can go forward.

Scanning through the home walkthrough, Epstein had a lot of framed wall photos of naked women. At the beach or at the pool. There's one framed photo that is blurred out for some reason. not sure if it was cp or what. There might be a naked/topless photo of Ghislaine Maxwell on a bedside stand. But the video quality is so crappy I can't tell. Its right under a portrait of her.

The AFBF provided a price breakdown in year-over-year changes compared with 2023 prices for typical BBQ foods (list courtesy of CNBC):

  • 3 pounds of pork chops, $15.49 (+8%)
  • 1 pound of cheese, $3.57 (+1%)
  • 1 package of hamburger buns, $2.41 (+7%)
  • 2½ pounds of homemade potato salad, $3.32 (-4%)
  • 32 ounces of pork and beans, $2.49 (+2%)
  • 16 ounces of potato chips, $4.90 (+8%)

While Wells Fargo agricultural analysts recently noted that the worst food inflation is "in the rearview mirror," food prices remain sky-high at home and away.

A man reorders his identical Walmart shopping list from 2022 for 45 items.

2022: $126
2024: $414

The same basket of goods nearly quadrupled in price in just two years!!

Have you told them that it is litterally because of everyone else that they are protecting Trump? That the Judges very much are thinking furthur ahead than any of them.
I'm just going to sit back while they continue to melt down over an imaginary scenario that only exists in their minds.

That's an interesting list of price changes. Looks like it's pretty much meat, pork and beef at least, and heavily manufactured goods that are getting hit hardest, fruit and veggies and dairy are doing ok?
I partially suspect here in yurop a lot of the inflation is gouging because I've seen the same pattern here and fruit veg dairy are way more inelastic then meat and goyslop

Biggest mask off moment for the left.

Before they were saying "We need to take Trump off the ballot to stop people from voting for him to save Democracy."

Now it's "We need to assassinate political figures, cancel the election, and make Biden Dictator For Life to save Democracy."

Frightening.
Biden Dictator for Life is only, like, three more months anyway, so who cares?

They totally can kill Trump, there's nothing to hold them back.
But there is. Firstly that would not be one of Biden's core constitutional duties, so he would enjoy only presumptive immunity at best, and given that ordering an assassination of an American citizen on American soil is highly unlawful and presumably not official, he wouldn't even enjoy that.
