Could Kamala temporarily be (interim) President, for example if Biden were to take an extended leave of absence, or would she still hold the title of VP?

I wonder if Michael Obama has been told "Get yo nappy-ass in fo dat Presidency shieet girl, or yall fin gun b frontin Kamala for real!"
Biden would have to either die, become incapacitated or be removed via the 25th for Kamala to take over.

Kamala put and kept people in jail for Marijuana. What a dope.
Shit just writes itself.
Im pretty sure Kamala is the only one that can replace Biden and remain on the ballot. Most states have already printed Biden as the dem nominee, and only death can replace him in some states according to there rules.
I am still in the I dunno if they are going to pull him camp but Kamala is the only one that will probably do it. She has nothing to lose. Whitmer and Newsom both have ambitions that do not involve being thrown to the orange wolf with a handful of months to prepare.

That’s the thing, I doubt they know if they’re going to do pull him.

Why would she want to be president? She makes a ton of money now and has a super easy life. She couldn't relax on her Hawaii estate and get paid to schmooze with elites anymore. If she wanted to be president after Barrack, she would have pulled a Hillary and taken a shoe-in position in the Senate. The Obamas don't want to be a political dynasty that fight in the muck with Congress, they want to be rich superstars and media icons who are above it all.

In black lingo, they got their bag already.

As I have said before I think it is a tremendous L for them to yoink him and it would be incredibly tough to spin it at this point because there is not even an illusion of a choice.

Sure we were not going to let you vote against Biden in a primary and now we are not going to allow you a choice in replacing him! NOW VOTE YOU FUCKING SLAVES!!!

The transcripts of a 2006 grand jury that investigated Epstein's sexual assaults of underage girls would be released to the public under a bill heading to Florida's governor after it was unanimously passed by the Legislature, Wednesday, Feb. 28, 2024. Fort Lauderdale, Florida (AP) — Florida prosecutors heard graphic testimony about how the late millionaire and financier Jeffrey Epstein sexually assaulted teenage girls two years before they cut a plea deal, according to transcripts released Monday of the 2006 grand jury investigation.

The transcripts were at the center of a court battle for about a decade after media investigations into Epstein’s ties to the rich and the powerful seems to have allowed him to continue to rape and sex traffic teenagers without ever being sent to prison or serving a serious jail term.

The judge’s release of the approximately 150 pages came as a surprise as he had scheduled a hearing for next week on when and how to release them. Gov. Ron DeSantis had signed a bill in February allowing the release on Monday or any time thereafter that Circuit Judge Luis Delgado ordered.

The transcripts show that the grand jury heard testimony that Epstein, who was then in his 40s, had raped teenage girls as young as 14 at his Palm Beach mansion. The teenagers testified and told detectives they were also paid to find him more girls.

“The details in the record will be outrageous to decent people,” Delgado wrote in his order. “The testimony taken by the Grand Jury concerns activity ranging from grossly unacceptable to rape — all of the conduct at issue is sexually deviant, disgusting, and criminal.”

After the grand jury investigation, Epstein cut a deal with South Florida federal prosecutors in 2008 that allowed him to escape more severe federal charges and instead plead guilty to state charges of procuring a person under 18 for prostitution and solicitation of prostitution. It’s long been criticized as too lenient. He was sentenced to one and a half years in the Palm Beach County jail system, followed by a year of house arrest. He was required to register as a sex offender.

That deal has been widely criticized as too lenient.

According to the transcripts, Palm Beach Police Det. Joe Recarey testified in July 2006 that the initial investigation began when a woman reported in March 2005 that her stepdaughter who was in high school at the time said she received $300 in exchange for “sexual activity with a man in Palm Beach,” Recarey testified.

Another teenager, whose name was redacted in the transcript, told detectives that she was 17 years old when she was approached by a friend who said she could make $200 by providing a massage at Epstein’s home.

At the house, the teen was led to a room by an Epstein assistant, and a short time later, Epstein entered and demanded that she remove her clothes. She complied and started the massage. When Epstein tried touching her, she told him she was uncomfortable. Epstein then told her that he would pay her if she brought other “girls” to his home. She agreed to do so, according to the October 2005 interview with detectives recounted by Recarey.

“And he told her, ‘The younger, the better,’” Recarey said.

When she brought over a 23-year-old friend, Epstein told her that the friend was too old. Over time, the teen brought six friends from her high school over to Epstein’s home, including a 14-year-old girl, the detective said.

The teen, who likened herself to Hollywood Madame Heidi Fleiss to detectives, explained that the girls understood what they were getting into. She received $200 every time she brought over a friend and a rental car paid by Epstein.

“The more you did, the more money you made,” the detective said the teen told him. “She explained that there was going to be a massage or some possible touching, and you would have to provide the massage either topless or naked.”

Epstein in 2018 was charged with federal sex trafficking crimes in New York — where he also had a mansion that was a scene of abuse — after the Miami Herald published a series of articles that renewed public attention on the case, including interviews with some victims who had been pursuing civil lawsuits against him. Epstein was 66 when he killed himself in a New York City jail cell in August 2019, federal officials say.

Delgado in his order called Epstein “the most infamous pedophile in American history.”

“For almost 20 years, the story of how Jeffrey Epstein victimized some of Palm Beach County’s most vulnerable has been the subject of much anger and has at times diminished the public’s perception of the criminal justice system,” Delgado wrote.

“Epstein is indeed notorious and infamous and is widely reported to have flaunted his wealth while cavorting with politicians, billionaires, and even British Royalty,” he continued. “It is understandable that given those reports the public has a great curiosity about what was widely reported by news (agencies) as ‘special treatment’ regarding his prosecution/SPOILER]

Is... it safe to say the Biden campaign is officially imploding yet? 🤔
Wait for his comments on the judges tonight. I bet he puts the final nail in the coffin there after he fucks up some retarded speech and then says “we gotta, like, make your voices heard and march.” Or something so insanely stupid that it will cause a bunch of cities to burn and the smoldering rubble will be symbol of his administration right before elections.

I think Fag Merchan is waiting to sentence until his Adrenochrome handlers establish what they do with Joepedo.

They might finally be realizing the Trump Curse has powers. Look at it, all that talk of replacing Trump at the RNC and it's like he held up the best mirror, a beautiful mirror, a great gold plated mirror, and just reflected the gay beam right back at them.

As optimistic as I am for these turn of events, no, not yet. The worst of the fireworks are still coming from outside the immediate Biden citadel, or "sources familiar with the matter" which I trust about as far as I can throw. Until an alternative proactively steps up and says they'll be seeking the nomination, or Biden goes full nigger moment on us, its not dead. Listing in the water, hole in the side of the ship, but still sailing.

Every single option they have ahead of them is a tremendous L, I’m nowhere near qualified enough to guess which is more or less of an L than the others.

The wording of Merchan's letter is definitely strange, feels like he is expecting the case to get tossed or something. Also saw this and thought it was funny.

September means he can give the Dems the convicted felon talking point for the length of the election (he can order fact finding determinations for official vs non official acts in October) and give incarceration as October surprise for the Dems if they want it. It also gives him maximum time to read the wind and let a Biden successor (if one emerges) time to give him new marching orders. Also if Biden stays in Debate 2 will have finished. Cherry on top it delays Trumps appeals process too.

Optimal strategy for a merchant like Merchan. The good news for Trump is that it shows Merchan is getting a payout rather than purely ideological.
