Anyway I dont know how domestic violence charges work in Virginia, but if the battered person can withdraw them then there is a good chance his enabling family will let him get away with this so I dont worry too much.

This comes up every time a cow gets arrested. Victims have no official say if charges get filed. There is a reason why criminal trials are <GOVERNMENT> vs <Alleged Criminal>. Victims can influence things by refusing to testify and if that sinks the case then the district attorney's office probably won't charge unless they have other evidence. Even if the Petersons refuse to testify and the DV gets dropped, they caught him with crack and I'm sure the DA has been getting emails with videos that show him smoking crack. Possession charges are hard to get thrown out if you can't beat them on legal procedure because it boils down to the state saying you had that shit on you. They're going to parade cops with certifications in drug identification and whatever on the stand. They'll put the lab techs on the stand who tested it, etc.

Austin is on probation, which means in lieu of his prison sentence. He never went to prison. Violating probation gets you your entire prison sentence handed back to you. You can actually then get paroled, or after prison resume probation.

If it was a family member who reported him, then they were probably aware he was on probation and the consequences of violating it. Ouch.

Still a thought-provoking thing to consider between BossmanDrew or the Rat Dad. If it was Rat Dad that got knocked out cold instead of BossmanDrew, it is highly unlikely, since Rat Dadda really loves his rat son like his rat wife, because the obvious reason. Adults in my opinion are more likely to be more rebellious than elderly people; so my bets on divorce cuck Andrew got enough with his rat bro's gamba antics and battery on him and call the cops on him.
This is my speculation, but take it with a grain of salt. I guess Virginia is the state of lolcows, consider it is where Chris and Austin live, and even Ralphamale of all people. The two former got arrested, which makes them hilarious in hindsight and similarity.

No. He will not. Jails like this get a lot of "I'm gonna do it, I'm gonna do something stupid dood" threats. They do not encourage these threats by rewarding them with going to a comfier hospital/psych ward. They put you in suicide/self harm observation. It varies slightly from facility to facility, but you get your own cell, with nothing but a concrete bench, and they take away your clothes and you have to wear this wierd velcro on "suit" that looks like a moving company furniture protector. If you keep acting up, you get strapped naked to a chair where you physically cannot harm yourself. Suicide baiting does not work in jails for comfier treatment...you actually get worse treatment "for your safety".
