My wife and I have had to deal with CPS twice, once when a former therapist reported us because we switched therapists and our child engaged in self harm, she blamed us for switching therapists. The next was when the same child lied outright about me to her psychologist and psychiatrist. The psychologist was seeing another one of our children and had realized the lie so didn't report it. The psychiatrist did report it. Both cases were closed after one meeting with the CPS agent, I found out about the lie during my interview. I'm still trying to forgive my own child. Nick is scum but the 2009 case was likely nothing. I know most of you want to believe Nick that he didn't change but he clearly has. He was a decent man, he is not anymore.

In short CPS in most cases (I believe it's something like 70%?) is just wrong and is being weaponized against good people. Consider that in Washington, Oregon, and Washington (at least) you can get CPS called and your children taken for not affirming their gender. Stop looking at any state entity as good, they are not, they hate you and want to destroy you so long as they get paid to do it.
