I think just about everyone would like From to do something different at this point. Even if they did another RPG of some kind, it should play radically differently from their current stock.

Also, IIRC, according to lore, Gwyndolin is connected to Priscilla and thus, Gwyn realizing that he has an abhorrent connection to his bloodline (Priscilla was seen as a disgusting abomination since she is half-dragon/half-human), intentionally raised him as a girl to disguise his dragon lineage, hence the presence of snakes around him as snakes are incomplete forms of dragons.

Regarding the religious connotations, Max Derrat just dropped a video on Shadow of the Erdtree.
Miyazaki is clearly into alchemical symbolism (much like Miura, Berserk was full of it too) and the androgyny of certain characters does have a deeper meaning.

There's been plenty of potential that's only grown with time. Synth says all sorts of shit that if it was someone else, people would be clipping it in this thread and would consider it 100% lolcow material. I don't clip that stuff and don't post it because I like Synth, but all that has to happen is for other people on the Farms that don't care about him to actually look and see how much interesting material there is.

As for the Thugnificent stuff, I don't give a shit. It seems really minor and petty. I haven't seen anyone give me a good reason to care, either. And I also don't really care if Synth is wrong about one videogame or something trivial like that. Synth hasn't given me reasons to start hating him or laughing at him yet.

Griffith agreed to have sex with the pedophile just to save his squad, he hated himself for having to do that and started self flagelating the moment Casca reminded him of it.
His relationship with Guts is in no way sexual, people say that just because of what he looks like, saying that two friends are in a gay relationship is a joke for half of the audience and a fetish for the other half (see Naruto and Sasuke, Saitama and Genos, etc).
Guts and Griffith are friends who see in one another a better man they wish they could be.
I think Griffith looks like a gay twink because of the japanese tradition of having a psychotic gay man as the main/prominent villain, such as Frieza in DBZ, the clown guy in HxH, Orochimaru in Naruto, etc.
