I'll start with some famous anime/manga creators. Also provide some proof of allegations this thread is for documenting actual pedos not lazy shit posting.
Koichiro Ito is just a producer, the creator of Your Name was Makoto Shinkai, who was also the writer, editor, and director, and pitched the story to Toho.

When it comes to anime, it is better to err on the side of safety and assume that every animefag is a pedophile unless proven otherwise. An assumption of guilt, not innocence, is the rational and measured approach when it comes to people who watch anime.
See, Watsuki wanted to dispose of his CP in a safe manner that wouldn't get him caught, so he consulted an internet lawyer site (possibly followed the advice of some guy named "Nikku Rīkieita" there). Which got the attention of the police & he got caught.
Mind you, there was an amnesty period so people could get rid of their stuff without getting in trouble. However, Japan made "cheese pizza" illegal in 2014, & that period had already ended when Watsuki's shit happened [2018]. However, even with that no CP mandate, it was allowed only by a loophole before that. Possession of pornography wasn't regulated in any kind of way up until that point, which is why you could technically, stretching the letter of the law, possess it as long as you didn't propagate it.
Basically, he wasn't arrested for noncery in a way, as much as he was fined ¥200,000 (around $1240 now). for possession, not even a charge for the attempt to destroying evidence. In his case, Watsuki was only fined a rather meager sum, if he possessed material older than 2014 & had possessed it already before the total ban was made. Ignorantia Juris non Excusat & all that shit, which is why he was still fined, but not that heavily. Think of it as you have Marijuana in your house & you want to dispose of it in a state that is illegal. You will be arrested for possession regardless. Same happened to him. He literally put himself in that position & got caught by one of the worst glowies in the world.
If you're wondering how consulting a lawyer, led to the cops listening, Japan's secret agents are actually busy spying on their own people rather than enemy of the states. Also, the agency was so bad in doing its job it's considered one of the worst intelligence agency in the world.
Of course, pretty much every glownigger agency in the world does this. However, the thing is, Japanese Intelligence Agency still botched that one job of spying their own people. They pretty much missed Aum Shinrikyo gassing the train. Also I'm not sure if they can check on Chinese spies roaming around Japan.
It's the same with their Police and Fast Response Team. The only reason Japan didn't become a shithole like America (Portland tier stuff) is the fact it is filled with Japanese, average Jap cops would commit suicide if they work in America for one week.
This didn't even lead to much for Watsuki. The only hinderances it led to was that Rurouni Kenshin's Hokkaido Arc was put on hiatus after the details of Watsuki's charges were made public. In February 2018, Watsuki was fined, & The Hokkaido Arc resumed serialization just 5 months later in June 2018. The only issue for Watsuki himself was that while it didn’t affect his career in Japan, his international presence is kinda fucked. Watsuki was one of the few mangaka that made international appearances at Cons at the time, that part of his career is definitely over, but Ruronin Kenshin itself is fine internationally after the initial blowback years ago. Sony, Aniplex, & Shueisha did their jobs in presenting the series as a product with many hands on it, so Watsuki losing his face internationally is something they can easily do without it.
I don't remember most of it (I read about this very long ago). But apparently the reason he got convicted was cause he slept with an underaged prostitute (I think she was around 15-16) in 2002. In fact, IIRC, he was actually charged for prostitution, not the noncery, even if that did make the case harder for him. He was sentenced to 2 years but with a 4 year suspsended sentence so basically nothing.
The reason he later still got to make Toriko (before that got axed) 6 years agter that was this:
And apparently it was found out (or I think she admitted it herself later) that she lied about her age. In fact, in technicality, he can somewhat charge her for this if she wasn't a prostitute.
However, there are still 2 issues with this:
1: He supposedly had sex with 3 different girls through a website that was notorious for sex dates & underage prostitution.
2: This is a rumor, so take it with a bit of salt, but it's said that he had sex with an assistant after she stopped working with him who used a fake ID to get the job in the first place, but because he paid her, & then also had sex with her, he got nailed by Japan's 99% conviction rate.
I don't know exactly who made Uchi no Maid ga Uzasugiru! but this whole show is about a maid desperately trying to fuck the 10 year old daughter of the man she's working for.
Look at this promotional pic, it perfectly describes the creepiness of this show:
everyone who worked on this piece of shit needs to be put on a watchlist.

I remember going into this absolutely blind, I literally had no context except the maid has godly abs. This is all the context I had:
I started watching it, & then she turns out to be a massive lolicon (this whole thing is just dark humor in the show). Which wasn't something I really cared for (I persevered for Bricc girl) until I fell asleep 7 minutes in the first episode. I woke up by the end of 2nd episode ED started. This shit has been On-Hold since the last 6 years of me first starting it, & it's never gonna be seen by me.
What's even more hilarious is, I'm not the only one, the marketing tried to bait everyone through Bricc Maid waifu. The fucking promo material used it as a selling point.

Everyone was fooled, myself included.
The reason I started watching this shit is buff girl fanservice and I got a pedo maid and upskirt shots of a 10 year old girl.
Yknow, I've been asking myself the same question. I wanted to get into it back when I was using a friend's crunchyroll subscription but after watching a few episodes it was pretty clear what it was so I abandoned it pretty quickly.
I also remember being a bit of a weeb as a kid, but all I cared about was collecting manga box sets and Fruits Basket posters, not uber weird shit. Now when people tell me they're weebs I run.
