Sweet Baby Inc. and the Steam Curator Group Conspiracy - The company that is responsible for the diarrheic video game writing.

the ones who drop project or company at 1st sign of woke.
Put me into this category. Especially these days when even going to mcdonald's is as expensive as going to a full on restaurant when you were growing up. Shit is just too expensive, the currency too debased, and the content too vacuous to warrant dolling out food/rent money for videogames where commiefornia-based propagandists try to pontificate to you to worship niggers and hate your own race.
It would actually be cool to see a game set in Africa or a fantasy equivalent, no need for forced "diversity" by blacking up Europe.
They already did, it's called RE5, and it was arguably the most realistic representation of Wakanda ever put on a disk.

Funny thing is RE5 was basically the very first time I ever saw the diversity consultant scam in action
Remember the guy who started the dram about Resident Evil 5 being racist because you kill africans in africa? N'gai Croal, guess what he did since?

What the woke creators fail to realise is that when fans stop complain, it does not mean they like what you are doing or will buy it. It means that they stopped caring to the point they will not even engage.
^this. I'll let @Jet Fuel Johnny elaborate.
One of the things they teach you in leadership schools is simple: As long as the peons are bitching openly about shit that can't be changed, everything is fine. It's a peon's God given right to complain, after all. However, when they get into small groups and mumble/whisper/talk quietly to each other, going silent or changing the subject when someone in authority is near, THEN you have a fucking problem.

The problem we're seeing with the current culture is that they think that forcing everyone to mumble to each other and be quiet, or even silencing those people, makes the 'bad think' go away. The people who are complaining loudly are complaining about dumb shit and wouldn't be a worry anyway. The people mumbling are the people you don't want mumbling. It's online and in real life.

Every successful game I've played in the past year or two has never been featured on any of these shows if its not established AAA.
Baldurs gate 3 wasn't even talked about by them until it actually came out
The media were told to ignore it for as long as possible. When momentum around the game grew, they had to smear it with woke "Gay characters", "Bear sex" and the like. Some fell for it.
The only thing the industry hates more than a successful single-player game, is one with no full-suite of MTX or DLC. They hate them, and the media always slag them off.

Games like TOTK and BG3 are hated by the modern game industry because they are succeeding where the devs told us there is no room for success anymore. In the pure AAA single player, no MTX/paid DLC demographic. They spend years telling everyone that those games do not make money or find acclaim only to be proven wrong twice in a single year. Games like those show that putting a lot of work into making a good product is a recipe for success and they hate that because it serves as proof that they themselves are unwilling to put the required effort to make a good game. It is far easier in their eyes to make a shitty MTX filled FTP game and hope it makes cash rather that make a great single player game that can lead to critical acclaim and monetary success as those demand actual effort and talent.

Why can trannies never just *not* pressure children into cutting their genitals off? Why not just be normal, for once?

Turned people's brains into soup?

The entire point of video games is that it's an interactive medium - something that is expressed through challenge. You actually get to feel tension in the story because there are stakes - and the level of tension is intentionally in the design. It's quite literally one of the only things that separates a video game from a movie or choose-your-own adventure book and a game critic is OK with it being taken out and thinks other people's brains are soup? Christ.

The entire "I want to watch it/experience <GAME> but don't want to play it" discourse has already been done - it's filled in by Let's Plays/Streams, which is ironically a better way to experience it as an accessibility option because at least the streamer can articulate or demonstrate the difficulty. Turning off death won't prevent the player from getting lost, softlocked, behind a grind, etc - all things you can avoid by watching other people play it instead.

Most people don't care about actual accessibility options - but this is just lazy dogshit being paraded around as an accessibility option.

One wonders how they ever got through the entirety of 90's gaming. It's almost like they never really played video games in the first place and was only pretending to.

Amazing this fat, perverse, piece of shit was able to stop stuffing his mouth and puke out such a retarded take.
Never liked him never will. Maybe when he's dead he'll have finally done something worthwhile. Honestly surprised his heart hasn't given out yet.

I know it's fun to shit on Africa and their failures but I've no ill will for Africans living in Africa. In fact I think the west has a lot to answer for in trying jump essentially early medieval societies, at best, into the 1960s.

These were tribal societies or small kingdoms that were fast forwarded in time and development, I'm sure with good in mind, but there are multiple states of development that were skipped for a people who couldn't handle it. Then there's the brain drain, the smartest most capable truly intelligent Africans that move to the west to escape, but leave their homes with nothing but those that can't. Look at the educational attainment of Nigerians in the US, it's incredibly high especially compared to African Americans not because of magic soil in Nigeria creating geniuses, far from it, but because that's the cream off the top a very, very, watery whey.
Even the migrants flowing into Europe are young manpower that would be needed to help build up society, rather than drag Europe down with people incapable of ever assimilating because there's about 20 IQ points keeping them from being even the average Joe. Without even touching on the gross race-mixing project by Kalergians.

Of course all of this is incredibly "racist" if you're of the belief that race is only skin deep, but look at the difference in Asia. Asia was brought into the modern era in an expedited fashion by trade and contact with the west. There were cultures and empires reaching back thousands of years in both China and India - The difference is that the average IQ in eastern China is 105, and in India it ranges from 85 to 75. Which of these countries is now a complete smouldering shithole?
Or rather, which of these countries was capable of using the tools they were given, creating a society rivalling Europe and America in development in 100 years and which one wasn't? Not convinced, look at the difference between Singapore and its neighbours, the difference of Japan and South Korea with the rest of the entire continent.

I have a feeling people won't play the game because the series has been in a nosedive since entry 2 and now it's preachy and obnoxious. I've seen no one bitching about an optional scrub mode. Why even care if, it's not as if it affects your playthrough in a single player game. But you gotta run cover for a possible flop any way you can, I suppose.

Never liked him never will.
Never did either. Even before the tranny shit there was always something deeply contemptible about him, and I'm not even talking about him being a huge fatty, more his personality always betrayed his malignant narcissism even when he tried to hide it under a "character".

Back in my day, we had to put in cheat codes to get God mode, that or Use a gameshark/codebreaker/gamegenie and put the code in. And we didn't use it for accessibility we did it because we beat the game already and it was a reward or, we wanted to see what the game looks like when you start breaking it.

It's understandable if a person wants options because of a real problem(color blindness), there is no excuse because you are lazy and don't want a challenge.

But what do I expect from a game journalist, and someone with more holes in his brain, and drugs in his system then a dead mobster.

I used to respect Jim WAY back in the day. I turned on him when he made an anti-consumer statement on a subject that I knew he used to be pro-consumer on (I cannot remember what that was as it a good while BEFORE he trooned out). I can disagree with some and still be a fan but I remember that thing he said (whatever it was) made me drop him immediately because of the flip-flop.

I used to tolerate jim as well. I can separate art from the artist. It's just jim then went so far off the deep end I couldn't care anymore. It was funny way back when watching him tear into shitty asset flip steam games. No idea what he does now a days other then. I Guess tries to go to bat for fucking God Mode being a option you can just turn on at the start of a game. :story:

. I can separate art from the artist.
All I remember is a fat pasty blob licking things and putting long leather gloves on in a weird pervert fashion.
There was never any art it was all self love and he got off to you watching.
No surprise though the guy who can't walk up a flight of stairs and probably has an escalator / elevator in his home wants easy / godmode in games.

I don't mean in the literal sense of art. After all He is a journalist for games, one of the least artistic forms of Journalism. Yes as far back as I can remember even when he was still with the Escapist he was weirdo, think he even played with a black dildo as a end of review joke. The red flags was all there, but he wasn't at the time; off the deep end quite yet.
