He's not even denying it's cocaine, only that they haven't proved it's cocaine. His worst accusation is that they aren't finished.
It appears to me that the only defenses Rekieta has available to him are:
1) illegal search
2) he didn't have knowledge/possession of the drugs
3) the drugs were in fact, not drugs at all
1) is nonsense, while Nick might insinuate it to his spastic fans, it doesn't look like he's actually going to fight it on that basis.
2) the fact these were found in the home he has lived in for years, in his room, somewhere it is easily accessible makes this notion preposterous. However, if in doubt - those packets of drugs will probably have his/Kayla's/April's finger prints on them. Non-starter for Nick.
That leaves Nick with 3) to work with, so he better hope their test comes back as a false negative, or that he was actually snorting pro-plus this whole time, or he's going to have nothing to defend himself on these drug charges.
Nick gains nothing from airing what his legal strategy is. It makes him look even worse. The thing is, no one really begrudges people for spinning this sort of bullshit in court, when your life is on the line, you work with what you have. Outside of court, it comes across as what it is - lies. He would be better saying nothing until the court case is over, then just being honest with people when he can speak without consequences on the topic.
