A spookier concept for "Voices of The Void" would be a group of researchers in Cold War Montana surviving months isolated from the outside world trying to intercept Commie or Alien communication. Sound boring, right? Well, the technology they're dealing with is "experimental," and they have all kinds of safety violations. These signals and energy waves emitted off of the satellites and machines cause chemical imbalances that induce pre-stage psychosis for both researchers and security. This would induce hallucinations, forgetfulness, and even sickness in the crew, which would catalysize paranoia over time. In some sessions, conflicts get bloody, while in others, it's hard to distinguish between reality and fiction. By the end of the game, the entire research station disappears, with only evidence of their insanity being picked up by contracted agents of the governments to further the program. The cycle of ignorance and insanity prevails, no matter the player's options to prevent the disappearance.
