This was still my 'most likely replacement' theory, but with how ironclad Biden's digging his heels in, and the fact that actual competitor candidates still haven't stepped up, I'm not so sure.

Specifically, the idea of playing some rules lawyering and greasing some palms to make that transition work and for the various states to 'accept' in their rules to treat a resignation on terminal brain soup as if he died and let her step up would require some general political cooperation, and for them to start setting the stage for it now. Instead, we're seeing one side of the apparatus get hostile to the rest, while the rest of it tries to cover and attack and tear down the first. And while a genuine break in the ranks like this doesn't make a Kamala ascension implausible, it does make the idea of all the relevant states bending their rules to permit it much less likely. There will be a vested interest in at least one side leaving them to rot with the consequences of what they've done, if for no other reason than to stop throwing good money after bad.

I still think that if they're going to try it and get away with it, they'll have to do so with as much seeming legitimacy as possible, even if its all smoke and mirrors - A pre-convention Biden stepdown with Kamala inheriting the campaign and all its finances, one or two token competitors stepping up to the competition to then lose to Kamala to help give a veneer of legitimacy, and then they're off to the grifting races. But the time window for those sacrificial alternates to step up is shrinking rapidly.

Maybe I'm wrong and maybe all the parties involved really do think they can just big dick it however they want, but I just consider that unlikely with how thoroughly the media has broken from the Biden campaign now. It 'could' be 4D chess, but it doesn't track with the last three years of them being incredibly defensive, proactively defensive even of Bidens gaffes.

I heard some great advice recently, here it is: if there are two candidates you like and you don't know who to vote for, vote for the person who is NOT the incumbent. This is my 2024 prediction and I look forward to another four years of the funniest administration in my lifetime.

Polls have error retard. We have seen both Trump and Biden ahead at different points during this race. Past performance doesn’t predict future results.

2. ‘Biden will drop out before the convention.’
Not happening. Biden polls better than any other Democrat, and also has actual experience being president.

3. ‘Biden is unfit to be president.’
Biden CURRENTLY IS PRESIDENT retard. He had a cold during the debate that gave him a mildly bad look. Most Americans see through this and consider him to still be the best choice for president.

4. ‘<State that had fraud in 2020> won’t have fraud in 2024!’
Not happening. The DNC is as bold as ever and still have superior ground game over Republicans. Effectively no new laws or rules have been made to reign in things like ballot harvesting. 2016 was a surprise and the Democrats will never lose that way again.

I agree with 2 and 4 and soft agree with 1 because things can always change. If this polling holds, Trump probably will win even with fraud. But a one or two point lead might not be enough. Remember, the average only has him with a +3 lead.

Because he isn’t unfit. Biden has a slight speech problem and isn’t good with public appearances but behind closed doors the man’s getting RBIs. Let’s assume for a minute that Trump actually wins in November.

Literally the first thing that will happen is that Congress will need to pass a new budget. And that means another twenty or so billion dollars of weapons for Ukraine and Israel (each). Trump will pitch it as a ‘deal’ and what do we give to the Democrats in exchange for this ‘win’? More H1B visas for Kung Pao and Tikka Masala (with a teaspoon of border patrol funding that gets funneled into DEI training). Everyone in this thread except the loli guy and the gorilla nigger will suck it down like copium instead of seeing it as the cuck out that it is.

NEWS FLASH: DC is still full of swamp creatures that Trump can’t just fire like in The Apprentice. DC is a machine and I’d rather have the devil I know for another four years than a basket of has-been GOPe good ol’ boys from the Bush era.

I think Trump will be a good president, but I don't think he's going to have any easier of a time of cleaning out the DC swamp than last time around. Chevron is one thing, but court cases take time and Trump only has four years. Consider how ineffective Heller was and how slowly Bruen's been doing in overturning unconstitutional laws. There's also the factor that even though Trump has immunity, his cabinet doesn't. I do believe that Trump can actually end the wars in Ukraine and Israel effectively.

Deals with Putin and Iran to invade countries after he left

Effective handling of Ukraine and Israel wars
Razorwire on the Texas border
Student loan forgiveness
Moving immigrants from red states to blue cities
Chevron getting knocked down
