Just brainstorming here but couldn't they just replace Kamala? The new VP would be understood as the actual Dem candidate for president. Kamala would perhaps rather not step down but they could put a horse head in her bed, or whatever they do.
Word through the grapevine is Chuck wants to dump Joe and Kamala off the ticket entirely given how much of a policy letdown this stagnant administration has been.

That thing that always happens has happened again. No one expected this. 3 cucks from commieland and one from Ohio protected garland. They all look like they went to Epstein island so i am sure they have some secrets.

4 more faggots who will get primary'ed out come election. They really think they can just put the Trump genie back in the bottle and one day return to Neocon safety.

Obama is not happy Joe said no. So now he's upping the pressure, bringing in his celebrity lefty buddies to speak out

If Joe stays in, that's bigly damage to his campaign, all these people like Jon Stewart, George Clooney, etc., that liberals worship, publicly tossing him under the bus. And there's no way it isn't coordinated. And the only one who could coordinate it, even tacitly, is Barack

Not ditching Biden and pretending he's just fine is suicide for the entire party. There's no coming back from trying to perpetrate such obvious fraud.
Is ditching him really better than keeping him? In politics you can pass a lot of bullshit if you insist to the end that what you're saying is true. Like Biden is likely to lose catastrophically if he runs but the difference is in the effect on future races. If the party removes him then it's a tacit admission that he's mentally impaired and they've known about it, and that seems more damaging to their credibility in the long run. If they keep him in, 4 years from now they'll be talking about "the horrible Republican smear campaign against Joe Biden" and how it cost them the election.

Removing Joe forces some really unpleasant internal battles, like choosing whether to run Kamala (suicide) or bypass her (spitting in the face of DEI). It requires nullifying the primary and denying the candidate delegates are pledged to vote for. These internal conflicts could rage for years and seriously damage the party. Running Joe and having him crash and burn seems like a way to exorcise him and Kamala and start with a clean slate, they can be blamed for the loss and it'll just be a matter of their careers being lost.

If Obama wants him removed, it may be because a Biden loss will have a major impact on his faction in the party. He consolidated a lot of control after Hillary lost but I'm sure there are a bunch of people who want to end his influence, and considering the evidence that Biden is just his sockpuppet a Biden loss would be an opportunity to drive him out. Obama may be angling to be the one who picks the replacement candidate.

They can. The problem is that if they do so then they can't replace Biden and that fucks them over for winning.

If they try and replace both they can no longer use the large war chest of campaign money because you can't raise money for one candidate and run another. The funds were raised for Biden-Harris and the law demands that either Harris or Biden MUST be the candidate to keep the money.

It’ll be interesting to see the sacrificial queer they offer up to be smeared by the 2024 election. Anyone with ambitions to run in 2028 is avoiding the race and isn’t drinking the kool aid that another Trump cycle would be the end of democracy. There’s very clear disillusionment about the party propaganda and we may even get to see factions splinter off the DNC due to their displeasure with how rotted the system has become.

I think their best bet might be to toss in Pritzker now, sure he'll lose but I doubt he'd ever make it anywhere down the road either. Whitmer and Newsom seem relatively viable for 2028 and beyond. I don't really remember the democrat lineup being so weak and splintered. Nothing but old Bolsheviks, white middle aged women, and crazed islamics. What a party.

Buttgag and Kamala seems like a good pair to waste

As others have said, it's not until you have to live with them that you really get a feel for just how different they are - mentally, emotionally, and culturally. It's night and day. There's an overwhelming selfishness that pervades their every action.
Hispanics officially make up the biggest share of Texas’ population, new census numbers show
White people had been the state’s largest population group since at least 1850. Sometime in 2022, the Hispanic population surpassed them, new data shows.
And this trend is growing throughout states in the United States.

DSA drops endorsement of AOC.

Status of DSA National Endorsement for Rep. Ocasio-Cortez

On Sunday, June 23rd, the DSA National Political Committee (NPC) voted to endorse Representative Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (AOC) so long as she fulfills the following conditions:
  • Publicly opposes all funding to Israel, including the Iron Dome
  • Participates regularly in the DSA Federal Socialists in Office Committee
  • Publicly opposes all criminalization of Anti-Zionism, such as bills advancing the IHRA definition which conflates criticism of Israel with anti-semitism
  • Publicly supports BDS (Boycott, Divest, and Sanction) to end Israeli settler-colonialism
This initial endorsement request was considered upon request of New York City DSA’s Steering Committee (NYC-DSA SC). Earlier this week, the NPC received a request from NYC-DSA SC to withdraw the endorsement because it took place after the New York Democratic Primary and they did not expect a conditional endorsement or feel it was strategic. Because we have not seen evidence of AOC meeting these conditions, and at the request of the NYC-DSA SC, the NPC is withdrawing our conditional endorsement of Representative Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, although she will remain endorsed by our New York City chapter.

In the last several months, thousands of DSA members provided input about the prospect of a national endorsement through town halls, meetings, and engaging in their chapters’ discussions, and AOC was invited to speak at a member forum. Many members have supported national endorsement while at the same time demanding that AOC demonstrate a higher level of commitment to Palestinian liberation, self-determination, and the immediate end to the heinous genocide in Gaza committed by Israel that aligns with DSA’s positions and expectations of socialists in office.

We recognize that AOC has taken many courageous positions on Palestine such as co-sponsoring several House Resolutions (3103, 786, 496), naming Israel’s genocide as well as opposing House Resolution 894. However, members have raised their concerns regarding a number of her votes, including a vote in favor of H.Res.888, conflating opposition to Israel’s “right to exist” with antisemitism. AOC also co-signed a press release on April 20, 2024, that “support[S] strengthening the Iron Dome and other defense systems”

Finally, AOC recently hosted a public panel with leaders from the Jewish Council for Public Affairs, lobbyists for the IHRA definition of antisemitism. On this panel, she conflated anti-Zionism with antisemitism and condemned boycotting Zionist institutions. This sponsorship is a deep betrayal to all those who’ve risked their welfare to fight Israeli apartheid and genocide through political and direct action in recent months, and in decades past.

A national DSA endorsement comes with a serious commitment to the movement for Palestine and our collective socialist project. We must endorse candidates who enthusiastically seek a relationship with DSA, and the National Political Committee as the highest body of the organization between conventions is responsible for setting the criteria we establish for national endorsements. Chapters have a responsibility to make this clear to their endorsed candidates when applying for a national endorsement. The NPC is committed to ensuring that all of our elected officials are unabashed in their support for Palestinian freedom. To build a socialist movement that’s capable of defeating capitalism, we must demand more from leaders in our movement.

I forgot to post this a few weeks ago.

In bid for young voters, Democrats offer social media influencers access to August convention

It’s part of a critical voter outreach plan in place since President Joe Biden’s 2020 campaign and extended into the halls of the White House — as Biden combats Donald Trump and his army of online supporters.

At a Democratic National Convention media walkthrough of the United Center last month, local content creators and social media influencers were given a private tour of their convention working space: a skybox next to major networks like ABC and NBC.

The local influencers, most of whom do not post political commentary, were told, “If you are posting something critical of [President Joe] Biden or Democrats, you know, knock yourself out,” Shermann “Dilla” Thomas, a popular Chicago social media influencer, recalled.

“The only thing they really said at the United Center was kind of, ‘Give folks a chance to answer some of those questions,’” Thomas said. “‘Since you have the credentials essential to be at the DNC, instead of maybe posting your opinion about a thing, you know, fact-check your opinion,’ or give them an opportunity to kind of rebut what you have to say.”

Thomas is among hundreds of influencers the Biden campaign, the Democratic National Committee and the Democratic National Convention Committee are courting. And beginning Friday, influencers will be able to apply for media credentials for the first time in convention history.

It’s part of a critical voter outreach plan that’s been in place since President Joe Biden’s 2020 campaign and has extended into the halls of the White House — as Biden combats former president Donald Trump and his army of social media influencers.

An estimated 32% of people between 18 and 29 got their news from TikTok last year, according to a Pew Research Center poll. And a poll conducted by the University of Chicago’s GenForward late last month found Biden has lost support from young Black and Latino voters compared to 2020.

Democrats are banking on a gambit. While they can’t control content, access and communication with influencers will help them reach tuned out voters in huge numbers, especially in key battleground states. It’s also a way to get ahead of critical content — and potentially debunk misinformation.

Thomas, who has 111,000 followers on TikTok and 84,000 followers on Instagram, proudly calls himself a Chicago urban historian and runs Chicago Mahogany Tours, which he said he started because he got “tired of people ragging on the city and not being fully aware of its history.”

He said he plans to use his convention credentials to post videos about Chicago history and also detail the ways in which organizers are spending money outside of downtown.

“Both Democrats and Republicans are courting minority votes. I can’t speak to that for Milwaukee. But how much money is the DNC spending with minorities and women and immigrant cultures here in Chicago for this big convention out here that they’re spending millions of dollars?” Thomas asked.

Despite the potential for negative posts, a convention spokesperson said there is respect for creators to produce their own content — just as there is a respect for the freedom of the press to cover the convention.

Samantha Lampkin, a journalist, media consultant and social media influencer who posts on Instagram, Facebook and X, also plans to apply for a credential. Lampkin focuses on lifestyle posts on social media but also hosts a monthly political show on CAN-TV called “Chicago Politics.”

“My whole goal is to humanize what it is to be part of the DNC from my lens to the average Chicago resident who may just go to work every day or [is] clicking and moving their thumbs through social media,” Lampkin said. “I want to know, why is this such a big deal? Why do we fight for it and that type of thing, like why people need to care.”

Since 2020, the White House has held briefings and roundtables with TikTok and social media influencers. The president has also conducted interviews with TikTok creators, including Daniel Mac, and the White House last year hosted its first Christmas party for influencers.

The Biden campaign recently invited 20 content creators to a fundraiser featuring Biden and former Presidents Barack Obama and Bill Clinton that had a combined following of 85 million. They also recently invited a TikTok creator to tour campaign headquarters.

The campaign said it began working with influencers late last year, in an earlier and larger effort than 2020, and it has now partnered with more than 550 creators. The campaign plans to spend millions on those efforts. The goal is to build relationships and create a coalition of outside voices who will have an impact closer to the election.

Influencers will be granted credentials by the convention campaign committee and will have the same access and information that traditional media receives, which will include access to surrogates and VIPs.

In Chicago, the convention campaign committee has hired full-time staffers, specifically assigned to influencer engagement. A convention spokesperson said a team will lead influencer engagement and will work closely with the Biden campaign and the campaign committee’s digital partnership teams. Volunteers will help with on-site support during the convention.

A spokesperson did not disclose how many credentials will be granted to influencers.

Holy shit this reads like a /pol/ack's wet dream come to life. Only thing left is to add "Support and actively encourage the killing and/or beheading of all jews!"

"Guys please give us some more good publicity on the internets we will pay you please"
It was leaked that one of the family members at the family photo event after debate said they wanted to spearhead the media influence operation for the campaign. I’m going to assume it was someone young and stupid like Natalie since she’s 1 sphere of influence outside of Hunter’s orbit. The Biden family has fully entrenched themselves in making the worst campaign in history and I’m all for it.

The issue is the same with the VP as with the president: who could they replace her with?
It's the exact same issue with Kamala as with Biden, being that NO one is either qualified enough, liked enough, or capable enough to replace Biden and have a fighting chance against Trump. The entire debacle surrounding Biden is so radioactive it makes Chernobyl look tame.
The other issue replacing Kamala would be DEI politics biting them in the ass. By replacing her it'd essentially be the Dems admitting they only hired her because she was ethnic and a woman, and not because she's qualified. While the handful of smart Dems would be okay with with that choice, its the SJWs and retards in the far left like AOC who would crow about "MUH DIVERSITY MUH HWITE SUPREMACY"
No, they're fucked with Kamala as they're fucked with Biden.

Point being, even super duper liberal people seem to immediately become disenchanted about immigration and racial diversity when they actually start seeing them. This family member of mine gets super excited when he sees Muslim women in hijab come to the same hipster coffeeshop on campus as him because "diversity is winning". But when it's Muslims protesting the Pride events and spitting on trannies, suddenly things switch. He looks a little lost that reality actually isn't like the posters he draws with one token member of every race and religion happily smiling and supporting abortion rights together. One token migrant is a novelty. Going someplace and seeing it be 75+% migrants makes you realize that they aren't going to be accepting YOUR liberal belief systems.... YOU'RE going to be forced to accept THEIR ways of life.
Reminds me of something I heard once. To paraphrase: One nigger can be civilized, a group of niggers can't.

DSA National Political Committee (NPC)
Can't make this shit up, literally meme magic shit. They have to realize this right?
