Looking forward to the upcoming “big boy press conference” (yes, that’s actually what KJP and John Kirby have called it) later on.

If it’s truly going to be an unscripted event like they say, with the press scrutinizing him as they did Trump/presidents before him, then I think it’s a coordinated effort to throw Biden to the wolves and force action vis-à-vis his dying candidacy. There’s no way such a situation can possibly end well for Biden, given that the press finally has permission to attack him, and friendly/scripted events are practically beyond him now.

The man has been treated with kid gloves- virtually all of his appearances leading up to/during his presidency were pre-scripted, with teleprompters in use. He’s failed to deliver during recent events, where teleprompters were used and questions were provided in advance. Staff have frequently ushered reporters out when they’ve tried to ask him unapproved questions. He’s relied on cue cards, and it’s gotten to the point where they’ve had to give him picture cards showing the pathways to and from the podium.

Yet we’re expected to believe that they expect a favorable outcome in shoving him out there, removing all those crutches, and switching the gameplay mode from beginner to expert? When he’s been playing on beginner for the past five years? This HAS to be a component of some type of demolition plan…

Im not sure its all that controversial. If they put someone like Newsom, that could excite the base and drive turnout. The base is demanding someone younger, and independents, suburbanites and moderates might give a new candidate thats not Biden a chance. You still have to deal with spinning the shit economy, housing and migrant crisis so a replacement could totally face-plant but its not a risk I want to take. Assuming they don't election fraud this year (they will) the Democrats need to get 5 hands of a royal flush in a row to win this. Odds are not good now for them so expect funny business come in November.
