This is crazy. This is the apps 10th aneversary too. There are people on the app claiming to have been there since the beginning and never having seen the community THIS angry before.

It’s odd too. For the most part the owners of iFunny have known who their audience was. During June they changed their app icon to a dinasaur because the community hated pride month so much they said “no it’s dinosaur month” but I’m curious what they will do. I’m pretty sure they recently got bought out. Could be wrong though.

For those who don’t know. “Collective” is the category of literally everything uploaded. The fact that literally 9/10 uploads are anti pajeet sentiment is quite impressive for a virtual rebellion.

It’s very strange reading about my very own shitposting app on my very own shitposting website.

I knew shit was going to go down the very nanosecond ifunny started to do more than nothing at all. Roblox partnerships, Fish Tank sponsorships, posts and xeets from actual mods.. Part of the ifunny greatness was its irrelevance.
I hope the pajeets back off but I also hope everyone remembered to enjoy it while it lasted

My account got device banned immediately after posting this. If y'all could spread this more it would be amazing. The issue is the funcorp CEO (funcorp is iFunny's parent company) is working with a venture capital firm. This means they want to monetize the fuck out of the app. And, to be profitable with monetization you have to have big advertiser's willing to have their products next to the content on that site. This will not stop until everyone realizes what the real plan is. It's not just overzealous pajeet mods, it's a company wide effort to wipe the slate clean on that app. I'm sure they turned down the automod banning to collect information on how many accounts are oppositional to these changes. Once they get enough data it's likely to be a mass wipe.

Said firm is trying to make the site appealing to advertisers. To do this, they’ve started banning the most prolific posters on the site, because they’re usually very politically incorrect.

They’ve also been continuously adding more ads each update, which means users famously refuse to use newer versions of the app. The newest update is what set this all off.

iFunny has been kicked off the App Store for extremist content before, and had to institute a Microsoft Text/Image automod to be allowed back on, so this is just a continuation of existing pressure. There haven’t been human mods for years after the last head mod got caught soliciting minors. The reintroduction of human mods is extremely unpopular, because the Automod was easy to beat.

Stealth Nigger Posting was a challenge where everyone tried to get the word Nigger by the Automod.


It usually wasn’t very hard.
