What does this matter?
Pursuant to Minn. Stat. § 260C.163, subd. 3(b), "In all child protection proceedings where a child risks removal from the care of the child's parent . . . if the parent, guardian, or custodian desires counsel
and is eligible for counsel under section 611.17, the court shall appoint counsel to represent each parent, guardian, or custodian prior to the first hearing on the petition . . . ."
In other words, broke niggas get a free lawyer if the gubbermint finna take they kids away, just like they do when they're charged with a jailable offense. Thus the Balldos had to have met the Minnesota broke nigga guidelines found here:
"Are you poor, or are you just pretending to be poor, Mr Balldo?"
