This is very gay but at least they’re trying and selected some names that aren’t bad. I’m not a Geeks + Gamers fan, but I do come across them tangentially when they’re on other shows. There are a lot of politically disaffected people out there who don’t care about voting but do watch 3 hour livestream reviews making fun of Disney slop, and it’s not a terrible idea to bring in those people via the YouTubers they watch—as long as it doesn’t feel forced.

The left does this with their own influencers, but it always feels very inauthentic to me. Nobody out there can be persuaded to vote for Biden by Harry Sisson. All of his viewers already were going to anyways.

Ehhhhhh, I'm not sure. Right Wingers tend to have a different psychological profile to Left Wingers. Specifically the core moral values. What works to make Left Wingers feel they are including themselves in the group may be markedly less effective on more individualistic Right Wingers who might even react negatively to such efforts.

Also, any perception that influencer-sponsorship is cheap is out of date. Influencers are marketing gold these days - self-selecting audience with specific tastes, loyal repeat viewers, good demographic statistics on the audience and in a lot of cases direct metrics of the sponsorship via sponsored links that let the marketing people prove value to their clients rather than those woolly old TV spots.

I don't know that you're wrong, but I personally feel Right Wing influencer sponsorship will get a far, far lower return on investment than the same money ploughed towards Left Wingers. At least, as someone who leans right,

Of those beliefs, the only one they'd really "know" is their opposition to abortion, and they'd only know that because they're constantly bombarded with the messaging of "Republicans want to stop whores from slutting it up without restriction or consequences, which is a violation of sluts' rights." Seeing the idea of no fault divorce or banning chemical castration of children for fun being actually written down, officially like, as something the right actually disagrees with -- when they're both things the left believes should have no restrictions on, ever, ever ever ever, is probably a bit of a shock to them.

Combine that with the fact that the left desperately wants to think and talk about something, anything else right now. Like, REALLY REALLY want to think about ANYTHING else, politically, right now. Their cognitive dissonance is in full throttle: They're the party of science, the good party, the party with the good leaders who do the best for America... but Biden is blatantly a retard which they can no longer ignore, it's obvious he's been senile for a lot longer than last week, and his policies are destroying the US and crashing it's economy with no survivors. Those ideas conflict, and the cognitive dissonance that's causing is causing their minds to react in very weird ways.

What will happen is they will, like a cornered animal, take the path of least (mental) resistance out of the trap to resolve the cognitive dissonance: And in this case, that means "BUT THE REPUBLICANS ARE LITERALLY HITLER AND THUS WORSE, NOW STOP THINKING ABOUT BIDEN VOTE BLUE NO MATTER WHO."

For fun, this is also how the Woke keep the sane left in line. When some of your core beliefs and values are: "I am not racist" and "Black people are to be believed and deferred to on matters of racism at all times" then some random 350 pound Shaniqua ogre screaming "YA'LL RACIST GIMMIE MONEY" results in your mind going "I am not racist; I am apparently racist; ERROR" and your natural response is to flinch and obey the gorilla. Gunshots have reportedly been fired at Donald Trump's rally in Pennsylvania, with the former president rushed off-stage by security staff.

Trump appeared to fall to the ground as he was giving a speech. He was quickly surrounded by armed security and stayed down for around a minute.

He then rose to his feet and put his fist in the air, before being escorted off stage and into a vehicle, and then driven away from the scene.
