Here is the most updated information regarding the $15 ActBlue donation.
In 2021 a $15 donation from Thomas Crooks of Pittsburgh, PA 15102 was given to ActBlue. While the city listed on the donation is Pittsburgh, the zip code tied to the donation is actually of Bethel Park. Bethel Park is a borough of Pittsburgh but using USPS Zip Code lookup it appears they only recommend you use Bethel Park.
I have no idea why there is a disparity between the city name and zip code, but I am not going to offer any theories behind this. All I know is that for my zip code there are several different city names that USPS recognizes as usable and they are all listed on the lookup. In order to figure out this disparity we would have to ask someone that lives in Bethel Park if its common/accepted to put Pittsburgh as their billing address for things.
Several people have since came out claiming that this was actually a donation from Thomas Crooks, a 69 year old from Pittsburgh. The website that the twitter source links is truepeoplesearch, which lists his current address as actually having a zip code of 16066. He moved to this house in 2022 which is a year after the donation was made. Here is a screenshot from truepeoplesearch that lists all of his previously known addresses.
Unless there is an address with the same zip code as our shooter that this website couldn't find then I am pretty sure the donation came from the assassin.

Powerlevel because I know these areas intimately (I'm going to phrase this terribly): Bethel Park is in Pittsburgh. Both are in Allegheny County, thus they oftentimes share very similar zip codes, however 15102 is unique to Bethel Park only. It's easy to get the numbers mixed up (or deliberately confuse the masses with the details like OP), but it's definitely our guy (15102) that donated.
