A conservative firebrand and one of X's heavyweight political pundits weighs in on the JD Vance pick:

I love the incessant attempts to sound smart by over-analyzing something that doesn't matter. The VP pick was never going to sway this election. It's probably never swayed a single election in US history.

Its also smart that Vance is young in that Trump is old. I think this on purpose because of Biden. Kind of a bit of insurance. That and it gets the younger vote, who have been bitching about it always being a fight against geriatrics. It seems very tactical.
He's young, he used to be on the other team, he clearly can't be called a racist, and he doesn't have the massive glaring target on his back that was the talking point of Pence being... Pence. A near-nobody with a completely clean slate. It's a denial of giving people something to latch on to and attack.

In the last decade or so Stephen King has turned into a real libtard cuck faggot and I wish he'd either die already or snort a mountain of cocaine and put out a good fucking book again.
King is a sperg for gun control, including banning semi-auto firearms:

Like many liberals, King believes people should listen to his viewpoint but never give their own as numerous times he refuses to debate the issue of firearms.

I think it would be more of a class war instead of a civil war. Civil wars generally had different regions pitted against each other, but this war would have different groups in individual cities attacking each other, and the countryside mostly uniting and guarding against the cities

Yes. I did a write-up on civil war during the peaceful yet fiery summer of Floyd, that still holds true.

Keep in mind I wrote that before Jan 6th and the ensuing crackdowns, though. We're closer to an insurgent vs own state conflict than we were 4 years ago. I wonder if the assassination succeeding would have triggered that old style of civil war, in a way Antifa wasn't able to sustain in 2020.

The difference is the people on the other side aren't starting from an anti-state position, but generally pro-country patriotism. That doesn't rule out a kinetic group vs group conflict, it just makes the odds lopsided as one group can outsource its violence to the state.

I think Liberman might have been the straw that broke the camel's back for Gore to get _just_ beyond cheating. I knew a lot of people my age who were first time voters and have been prime demo for lib shit but That Asshole Who Tried To Stop Video Games wasn't enough to get them to vote FOR Bush, but it sure as shit kept them from voting for Gore.

Being a nobody has perks. It's a underdog story with a redemption arc. America always loves that. That and since he's so normie, it's easy for people to relate to him. Which is always a plus.

By Saturday Vance should visit East Palestine again, and start doing a tour of the Joepedo failure's of American transportation and business. Go in front of the Boeing plant in South Carolina, the closed Ford/GM/Chrysler plants, the closed coal mines in West Virginia, hit it hard about how you work more for less, and your money is weaker.

Competency Crisis Tour '24

Top it off with a trip to the border, have him call some reporters faggots because he can point out how they'll harass him with questions harder than Copmala has had in 4 years, he's got it made.

If his wife, who is Californian, can talk about how she personally went from Californian democrat to MAGA, that would also greatly help. If she actually does that, it would help prove Vance is much more MAGA than pretend.
