Also, give it time. Once you have a few out, it makes it way more likely for you to lose more. The whole mouth loses it's structural integrity and the gaps that form just open up more avenues to further infection.
To reiterate, you can about get away with one tooth, but once it's multiple and they aren't being replaced, you're in shit. I passively remove any invasive plants that lend themselves to manual removal (and aren't already with seed) when I'm out in the field and mullein is a serious chunk of it. It'd be a welcome sight to have people spraying for it.
