What can you really say about this? It's just bad and doesn't follow any logical sense. Osha doesn't even want to know how or under what circumstances her mother died. Also, no concern for the other mother who they think is dead. Some more of the brilliant writing there.
I don't know if this is too nitpicky, but how does Mae know how to use the pip boy? Wasn't that Osha's special tool for working as a union mechanic or whatever she was.
The Capybara person. Why did he sabotage the ship? Which of course serves no purpose in the plot.
The senator foreshadowing Anakin is so absolutely cringe and eye rolling. I made a comment above about writers that don't know Star Wars would have a more limited understanding of what it can be. Which is why so many ideas just get repeated. Versions of dialogue. When Mae and Osha climb down into the tunnel. As they move through it lights go on. I'm immediately thinking cloud city. Then Mae says she was sucked into the tunnel as she fell. Good grief.
No point to litigate every dumb thing. It's endless. Little things like, why did Osha need to lock Smilo out of the controls of his ship when they both want to go to the same place. Why do Mae and Osha know the exact same fighting technique? I feel like i'd have an aneurysm trying to make sense of the story.
Why didn't Mae go with Osha and Smilo? Why did Sol need both to prove they're the vergence. They already had proof from blood samples when they were kids. Are we meant to believe the Jedi just never mentioned the vergence of force and powerful force properties of the witches planet. Yet never covered up all the witches were there and died.
We're all dumber for having watched it. Just imagine how much worse this'll be in a season two.
Plagues watching over Osha train. Green lady as the protagonist going after her ex pupile with out the Jedi knowing, or maybe Yoda will. Of course the writer expands the wifes role for a second season. The remaining mother coming into it. More threads vs force bullshit. More tie in's to the original films. Eh..
Sol loves his Space Kween and she Force Chokes him. Apparently this is the superspecial way of 'killing without a weapon' (despite nearly every Dark Jedi and Sith knowing how to do this). Naturally, a Jedi Master has no defense against being choked, like their own Telekinesis, a Force Push, Breath Control, etc.
I assume it is Sol letting himself be killed because he knows he did a bad thing when fearing for the life of a child he killed a black spooky smoke demon.
