Not only fired. But blacklisted from the industry. The bank should tell them their credit rating has dropped and they're considering stop doing business with them. The government should consider putting them on no-fly lists and on various surveillance nanny-tranny lists of the alphabet soup. That and more should be done. Because that is what happens to people who speak up against leftoid retardation.

If I recall correctly these policies didn’t survive legal scrutiny. Doesn’t matter, the damage was done and can’t be undone. They told you to forget. Then years later their rhetoric culminated in an assassination attempt and they’re asking for mercy.

They don’t deserve mercy and will receive none from me. Fuck them all.

These people have been actively trying to hurt if not kill us. Everything they do is meant to harm the average person, and people just sat back and let it happen. In a just world they would be personae non gratae.

I'm not a rightoid. Frankly, I hate cuckservatives as much as I hate leftoids, because they allowed this to happen and bent over backwards to loose against the left too many times to count. That'd mean I'd have to appear before HUAC and explain to them in detail that I'm not a shitlib or commie sympathiser. Nah, fuck that. HUAC is fine - but it should be only dealing with hard core commies, "anitfa"-faggots, post-modern maoists and what have you. But I'd utterly refuse to prosecute oldschool socdems that want to raise the minimum wage or campaign for publich health insurance.

Mass democracy made it so any Joe Schmoe on the street who hasn't lost the right to vote has to have opinions on all the issues, and his opinions matter because they (supposedly, but not really) affect policy. Over the decades, this phenomenon has been super-charged by the entanglement of identity into politics, making the political personal and the personal political. I'm tempted to lay the blame at leftist subversives in the 60's and 70's, but quite frankly the entanglement of identity into the politics of mass democracy is inevitable for any polity that includes a slew of different identities that have fundamental, untenable conflicts. Identity only matters when there's more than one and they disagree on important things.

Now this idea is flagrantly ridiculous, and obviously so. Your singular vote is insignificant even when looking at democracy as it is supposed to work in the manual. When you account for all of its myriad problems (I will merely point you to Hoppe's critiques of democracy and leave it there) this becomes all the sillier, but it is our political mythology and those caught up in it behave like its true.

All this is to address those yearning for a simpler time when people could look past politics and get along well enough in civil society. Suffice it to say the problem is structural. Until we stop pretending as though the opinions of the average person on national politics matter in any way, shape or form, we are not returning to those halcyon days.

I don't think it was setup, however, considering how long the person of suspect was known for nearly an hour really lends itself to a convenient "accident" or just pure negligence from the top down on the SS. It would be very easy to drag feet, like they dragged feet on getting capital police on site on January 6th, in hopes that the #1 Political Enemy is slain by an independent shooter. Either way, everyone in SS should be interviewed and investigated; weed out the radicals that claim to be protectors.

I don’t trust that Trump & co are safe just because the SS detail is now beefed up and defeminized. I suspect that this is just a show to keep conservatives docile instead of fervently questioning why so little is known about Thomas and why SS screwed up so badly like they should. I hope that Trump gets his own private security soon because if not, then he might as well be playing Russian Roulette. They could always boil the frog and slowly shrink the SS detail again, after all. There’s a non-zero chance that another assassination attempt occurs in order to take not just Trump’s life, but Vance’s life too and SS screws up again (most likely deliberately). In short, it’s not over, it’s just getting started.

Nah, some company will start a colony on the Moon, and from there they'll spread to every corner of the solar system and eventually the stars.

From the Moon they can easily destroy any attempt to leave Earth, due to how physics works. You can't shoot missiles at the moon colony, because the Lunar colony has days to react and shoot them down with solar mirrors, lasers, and missiles of their own that aren't fighting their way out of a giant gravity well. So the colony would control all traffic from Earth, forever. Can't even shoot lasers up at them, because the atmosphere will absorb and bend much of the energy. They don't have that problem, and with the sun, they have infinite energy to direct back at the Earth. Even just mirrors would work.

You don't need any sort of global earth government, you just need a company with the money to set up a colony on the Moon. A global Earth Government would most likely try to keep people on Earth anyway, since controlling a colony anywhere else would be nearly impossible. Even if the government set up a colony on the Moon, it would go independent the moment it has the technology to be self-sufficient. They'd want to keep humanity locked down here for easier control, so they'd never start colonies or try for the stars.

It's been at least 20 years, but a US Marshall came to my school for career day, and had been Secret Service earlier in his career, and shared a story about the day he saw a group of kids giggling and egging each other on, then a 12 year old pointed a very obvious watergun at the VIP during a parade (I think it was Carter), and how he very nearly shot the kid in the face even though it was a bright red plastic watergun.

He was very clear that this wasn't an overreaction, but was just the obligation of the Secret Service. Any potential threat, even something that's obviously a toy, is still to be treated as a deadly threat and dealt with. The only reason the kid wasn't shot, was that another closer agent jumped in front of him, and took the toy away.

Was an interesting day at school. He showed us some videos of convicts being transported, including an uncensored video of a rapist getting killed by the father of his victim with a screwdriver as the Marshals were transporting the rapist through an airport.
