I've been harassed by groups of young baboons because "I look like a Trump supporter" for walking with a white friend. it's dystopia out here.
I used to live in a decent (or it was, once upon a time) neighborhood next to a campus in a large city. One day, I took a route through the same neighborhood, and as soon as I went by a coffehouse (attached to a hookah lounge), a group of melanated chodes started hooting and hollering at me, referring to me as a colored bitch. Similar instances have happened to others I know - mainly white women.
Of course, it's not always blacks. I went to a right-wing rally in a large city, and I had a little white liberal pencildick whisper in my ear that he was going to follow me to my car, rape me, and then kill me. I laughed at him, and told him that if he's in love with me, he's shit out of luck because he's not my type. He sputtered out that he hated me - I said, "If you did, you'd leave me alone instead of whispering sweet nothings in my ear." He fucked off after a little while. Of course, I wouldn't engage black males like this - they see any kind of engagement as encouragement.
Maybe I could start taking classes for certifications for things, like sterilization lab work is something I see a lot of listings for. I hate the idea of wasting my time on certifications... not being able to get experience or, applying the knowledge to something that would separate me from the rest of the lot getting certified for the job too. i am currently a college student but my degree is in foreign language crap I probably will never find a job for.
You could try to look around for companies who are willing to train you in something vocational (i.e. electrician) - that way, you would get paid to be trained and then make mad money after licensing. If you're interested in certification in something a little more white collar, then look for GIS certification. Lots of counties need GIS workers to update and maintain their GIS databases. Plus, with a GIS job, you can usually work out an agreement to have a "hybrid" work-from-home and in-person assignment, or even look for a fully remote position. You can also find remote positions for data scientists, data entry, etc. If you are desirous to get out of the cities, remote jobs are your friend.
