There must be somewhere where you can see the length of the short position, no? You need to find how long the short was opened for and what date it would close on . If it’s after November then it’s possible it was a ‘crash economy after the election’ bet. If it was a shorter term one, then I think Austin wealth needs some eyes on it

Here's the thing, if Biden had any intention of dropping out of this race, he would have done so months ago.
It's just too late to run a replacement candidate unless you had somebody with a legitimate and massive grassroots surge in popularity.
The actual decision making ended last month, and the conventions this month exist to get the chosen candidates started on their campaign. Nobody wants to start a race after the other runner is already halfway down the track.
If you run somebody besides Biden, then that candidate will damage their chances for 2028. At this point, might as well let Biden take the fall.

This is a bit of a rant.. so I will spoiler it to keep this drunkpost short.
TL;DR... Despite strongly disliking Biden, if he barely survived an assassination attempt, I would not be wishing that the shooter missed, I think I might even find myself being sad for the corrupt son and replacement wife who forced him to keep running in the first place... even though he has obviously been senile for more than decade now, was mentally retarded even before that, and didn't need this shit to begin with.
My final thoughts on "what if the roles were reversed" about Trump's assassination attempt, and all of the shitty people wishing that the shooter had better aim...
I've spent some time thinking about how I would feel if Biden had just barely survived a hypothetical assassination attempt under the exact same circumstance as Trump's assasination attempt... It was not favorable to Joe Biden, or any of the shitty people who have said the shitty thing about Trump almost dying.
I don't like Joe Biden. I think that much is clear if you've read my posts.
But if Biden suffered an assassination attempt that played out like how Trumps did, (including with a dead Democrat supporter)
I would not be even remotely happy about it, let alone gleeful like these fucking garbage people (like Destiny) are. I wouldn't joke that "I wish they didn't miss." (like "Fatass" Kyle Gass) I would probably even feel a little bad for Hunter and "Doctor" Jill.
I am a human being, unlike those faggots, I have feelings and I know what it feels like to *almost* lose a close family member... I understand how stressed the Trump family must be right now, and I'd imagine that the Biden family would be under similar stress if it was Joe in that position.
(I also know how it feels to *actually* lose close family members, but that isn't the same thing. Talking from experience, the "near miss" factor adds extra stress to it all. I wouldn't wish either on anybody.)
