Sounds like you didn't live through the time 4kids/funi was airing it on TV and the manga was super fucking big on comic shop shelves during the 2000s. In my opinion, Lili's model has been progressively uglier/worse with each passing game. The best she ever was has been in Tag Tournament 2, because it simply used the Tekken 6 model. In Tekken 7, even at highest settings, she looks like she has the down syndrome.

rebranding costs money too, plus the negative PR when it people know about it (one of the reasons they were so fucking butthurt about the steamlist).
however that's just on the customer end. inevitably the zeitgeist is gonna change - just look how suddenly progtards getting canceled for spouting retarded shit about the trump shooting, or musk kicking out most of the retards at twitter showing you can run it easily with 10% of employees, on top of the money drying up. eventually you will have people dropping hard numbers that it doesn't make money, or worse actively prevents making money. corporate is all about profitmaxxing, that's why you get things like peter principle and other concepts what to look out for and not to do. I agree it's exorbitant, but consider the following:
1 He probably gets a lot of requests
2 He controls the steam group (leading back to 1) and whatever its offshoots may be

So, in order to make things easier for himself - and I'd guess $200 goes a long way in Brazil - he says "no requests unless you pay up." I think this makes sense.

There is of course no reason anyone couldn't "look into a game" on their own, and I don't think Kabrutus has magical powers of divination. Honestly I don't know what the hell he's doing to justify a patreon at all, besides flying to Japan to interview normies on the street.
