Big things to consider for 25th. If Biden contest congress has 21 days to respond so they can drag it out for 21 days during which kamala would be president. Congress would then have to confirm a new VP. Until they do there would be no tie breaker vote in the senate.

It may just be more pressure to try to make him quit. So far the Biden camp is just doing the usual social media spin posts.

Things like this are why I added in the third option with the stroke rumors. That this is BS but that people are deliberately leaking rumors to harm Biden and help force him out. It is notable they started coming out -right- after Biden's team announced he had covid, and alleges to date before it.

If Biden doesn't go voluntarily under 25th A, it goes to a vote in Congress, and they need 2/3 majority to remove him and install Kamala. They'd need a fair number of Repubs to vote to do that.

Thats if they wanna go the 25A route. Which only works if Kamala is the candidate. If they want anyone else they need to instead have the delegates go free, utterly usurp the primary voters will, select someone else, and basically perform what will be wildy seen -especially- by their own voters as a coup. Which is bad enough, but even worse if they still lose.

The only thing I can confirm in fact is that the virtual call to confirm Biden as the candidate has been "postponed" at the moment. That has been confirmed by the Biden team. Nothing more.

Statistically, most of their hardcore audience is older and terrified due to propaganda. They also grew up with a (probably false even then) view of the press as good, virtuous, and intelligent. The audience is very dumb, and it's sad.

You're right and as a Catholic it's genuinely conflicting. It's hard to reconcile faith with common sense politics sometimes and there are things I just don't know the answer to. At this rate, Trump has so much momentum right now that I really don't think that a new Dem candidate is going to energize their base at all.

it's gonna look weird if he pardons Hunter and they'd be taking a risk on a new nominee winning or not. I don't think Jill or Hunter would go for an uncertain, and the only other way would be Kamala pardoning Joe and Hunter a'la Nixon/Ford but it seems they don't want to go that route.

Don't forget Presidents can only pardon for federal not state crimes, the same lawfare they tried on Trump. I suspect the Biden family crime spree extends across many, many states.

Outside of his innermost circle, most of his staffers really hate working for him by all accounts. So far it's made more sense for their careers to play along but they can easily turn on a dime loyalty-wise if that changes.
