Honestly yeah, I think it might. It's the most humanizing speech he's ever given and one that was watched by a very large audience. There will be a lot of low-information voters who saw him for the first time not as the monster they've seen him portrayed as in the media, but as a regular guy who went through something hard and is responding to it courageously.

You're right and as a Catholic it's genuinely conflicting. It's hard to reconcile faith with common sense politics sometimes and there are things I just don't know the answer to. I don't think a 25A is even remotely possible, that would destroy the Dems for years. Attacking their own president that way and making him the first ever to be removed under that clause. It would be seen as the greatest betrayal by a large part of the party. The only one maybe on board would be the progressives as they might see it as a chance to seize the DNC leadership but that wouldn't happen either. You think the normal Democratic platform is a hard sell the you just wait until you see what the Proggies have in mind for America.

Not happening. Biden would be murdered before they choose that route.

Outside of those problems and just the logistics of going that route considering it's ~4 weeks until the DNC, would using this even do anything to solve their problem. Sure they've removed Biden the president, but does that necessarily prevent him from being their candidate?

I felt a sense of dread in 2020 (a stark contrast to 2016, when I was actually confident that Trump was going to win-- still pissed I didn't place bets on anything, btw lol). I'm not feeling that same sense of dread this time around, however, complacency is not an option.

I don't think that most Trump voters are complacent either, after what happened in 2020. I'm seeing a sense of enthusiasm that I haven't witnessed since the 2008 Election for Obama, honestly. In my opinion, that enthusiasm means that people are excited to vote for him.

People still need to be reminded that the Democrats have a decent chance of winning back the House this year, for starters (and I think that if any cheating happens, it's going to ensure that this happens for the Dems). If Trump wins, but the Dems get the House, we know we're going to see another impeachment on Day One, and the House Dems will do everything they can to defund and cuck Trump on literally everything.

Trump winning the election is far from the only fight to ensure that this Democrat nightmare has ended.

The number of truly undecided voters is fairly small but their impact increases when you add in the, I would propose, somewhat larger group of voters who are inclined to vote for Trump but are flaky about actually pulling the trigger and voting for him (or at all even). So on that front I think it will give him a decent boost, but yeah there's a bit of a ceiling probably given how polarized things are.

I'm fully convinced people only call themselves "conservative" because they have no other term to use. Personally, I believe NRx is the future, but it's gotta be dumbed down a lot so more people can get it. Auron MacIntyre does a great job of this, but he's only one guy and does not have wide reach.
