More lies?
The only family he lost is the one that disowned him for blowing 200 000$ away.

More lies?

Seems legit. This interview is back when he was married to Alison (the one he claimed abused him and she claimed he abused her)

"In the fall of 1982, after many years of soul-searching, I had decided that there was a God. I came to that conclusion after the summer of 1977. That was the summer my sister drowned. She was fifteen at the time, and I was twelve. It was, of course, the most wrenching, horrific experience of my life. In response to that horror, I withdrew, and I did a ton of drawing and writing."

I can't believe Flynt really thinks he could successfully run for office.
I know he's a delusional narcissist, but you'd think even he'd realize get ripped to shreds with all the skeletons in his closet.
It's kind of fascinating how little it takes to get Brianna on an ego high. Right now, I imagine she's convinced that she is bulletproof or that she's this sort of elite, charismatic force who could totally shrug off all these nasty "rumors" about how she has sunk two companies, no credentials in any of the fields she claims to be a part of, no clue about the socioeconomic conditions of the area she'd be campaigning in, or that she was born a very wealthy man but now claims to speak for women and the disenfranchised poor.

And all it took to get her thinking like this was a few of her followers liking her tweets and saying that she should totally do it. This probably also speaks to just how well she's fortified her echo chamber since getting verified.

Now I kinda feel bad for Frank

Re: public office: I just imagine Wu running for some dinky, utterly pragmatic, totally unglamorous government position, the only kind she could even hope to come in spitting distance with. She's set to appear at some town hall debate or whatever, and she gets redirected to the basement, where the "super special cool kids-only" debate will totally go down.

That realization is what's going to end the Mr. Flynt Goes to Washington fun for us. Frank will eventually sit her down and force her to understand what running for office entails and the reality of what sort of campaign his money can finance. Once it becomes abundantly clear that running for city council isn't nearly as glamorous as running for President, Brianna will give up and move on to whatever the next "career" is that can make her something.
