If I remember correctly, /k/ had (has?) a large amount of namefags(Flandre)/off site groups (I could've sworn hearing of a Facebook group way early on), which might be part of this. It's not just independent ones, as Froot from VShoujo also has history with /k/.
Is there any evidence that GuardBro and Kirsche are friends? Not doubting you but I want something concrete first because if she is that's concerning:
What kind of event is it? Is it v-tuber related? There's a lot of overlap of the gun community and the worst of the v-tubers for some reason.
How did /k/ go from being the board where anons gassed themselves and put grenades inside their toliets to underage VTuber grooming central?

Yeah its a very strange phenomenon. There is quite a cross over between milsim vtubers and /k which sort of makes sense, but then the anime angle puts another wrench into things. Rye is the most notable because of how much of a fuck up she was but there is a /k line from that sector of indie (well she briefly was corpo) to some corpo tubers as somehow in the West all Vtubers know each other. My guess is, is that these guys were just like Tarkov and ARMA streamers that decided to hop onto the vtuber bandwagon because they were weebs. Guardbro himself is a PNGtuber so its not too far fetched a theory.

Whoever Guardbro is friends with was in the military, or at the very least worked at a military base full of tanker planes.
As I said, outside of allegations (that he's both her personal friend and discord mod), there is no absolute evidence (as far I'm aware) besides Guardbro tweeting out a screenshot of himself "smuggling" Kirsche (alongside Rev and his wife) into Offkai a month back, the question being why him of all people (and he's not merely some random dude as we all know). Thy very clearly have some sort of connection, just not clear as to what exactly.
So they absolutely know and have affiliation with eachother, or at the very least, he has a direct connection to Rev, who is friends with Kirsche. All things considered, it's not really a stretch here.
These insufferable anime prostitutes really have to insert themselves into EVERYTHING.

Thing is my take on Kirshe from what i've personally watched of her is this: she actually does believe a lot of what she says. How do I know this? She gets shit for it, has suffered financial loss including for defending the Kiwi Farms, and so far has not joined a company. Yes some of her political takes are lukewarm as you call it. I call that being a woman.
