Just bumping the thread to say that Andy Dick unexpectedly showed up in a Workaholics episode from 2016 and it was surprisingly good! He played a recovering meth addict former theatre teacher which is probably WAY too on the nose for him lmao

Also posted this in "Former Celebrities" So Andy Dick is supposed to go to on tour with Pippi Longstocking and some other 80's and 90's stars including Pauly Shore. Billy John, Andy's black streamer friend, has been talking about this for weeks. The promoters had previously done a celebrity boxing event that they tried to get Andy to go to but Andy didn't go because he couldn't dry out enough to be presentable. The event was all planned and they lost money. So this time they want Billy John to go with him as his handler to make sure he gets there and isn't too drunk. They're going to take an Amtrak so Billy can bring weed. The promoters wanted Andy to detox first but Andy won't so Billy is going to give him small amounts of vodka throughout the day in a water bottle. He is also tasked with getting Andy new headshots and a suit. Andy has been staying Billy's apartment for weeks after he was dropped off by his wife with only the clothes on a his back and a single sock. She often drops him off at Billy John's place when she gets sick of him, and she never leaves with any money or clothes. Andiy's fingernails are scraggly and dirty and he literally looks like a homeless person right now getting drunk all night watching Bewitched reruns and Grace and Frankie while Billy does his IRL streams.

Billy John is stoked to see Pippi Longstocking because he watched that movie over and over as a kid and had a huge crush on her. She called them up and said she hopes they make it. If they do make it, Billy John said he's gonna stream behind the scenes.

Kinda sad to hear that the kid who played Pippi Longstocking back in the day is apparently hard up enough that she has to do these sorts of events with these sorts of questionable characters/former celebrities. I loved those movies as a kid. Her and that monkey were hilarious.

I heard Inger Nilsson on some Swedish radio show say that being a child star completely fucked her life up, she could not get a job or find love. She even said that at her moms funeral some bozo came up to ask her autograph. No wonder she started coping with alcohol and drugs.

You may be right, but if you are, it bears noting that he deserves to be exactly where he is for his role in supplying Phil Hartmann's wife with the drugs. He deserves the worst that can be thrown at him. He did clean up well, but I am not cheering on a redemption arc for him.
