Diseased #Comicsgate - The Culture Wars Hit The Funny Books!

No I totally believe he's a combat vet. Maybe there's something in them that might better explain his PTSD spergery that he hasn't mentioned? Discharge status, postings, dates, etc.
Unlikely you'd learn much concerning that from a redacted DD-214. They blank the medical section.

He has an autobiography?
Yeah. See @Miniluv's post.

I haven't read it personally, but Stenographer did, back when he was around, and he seemed to like it.

One of the things Zack mentions is that a lot of his success in life was due to dumb luck.

You know who else has an autobiography?

$15 paperback, $10 ebook on Amazon: https://www.amazon.com/Turn-Lifes-Lemons-into-Milkshakes-ebook/dp/B07S94N62B

I picked up an autographed copy on eBay back in CG's heydey for like $10. It's actually an inspiring story (as inspiring as 112 pages can be). Does EVS still play his stuff? I wonder what happened there, I remember when Flynt Flossy was going to be at the big vaporware ComicsGate Convention EVS scammed on for a few years.

Seriously, it's an uplifting story of hard work and perseverance that I fully recommend especially for younger people.

EDIT: HOLY SHIT Flynt Flossy has a react channel now commenting on current events!!!!! https://www.youtube.com/@flyntflossy/videos

[This is awesome]

Zack wants a job at Marvel.
Standard lolbertarian thought process. "I will show them by facts and logic that my way is correct."

The problem is they're commies who hate you and want you dead and the only way to deal with them is to accept cancelation, give them a middle finger, then burn their establishments to the ground and salt the earth.

Forgive me if I missed people talking about this already, but EVS looks like he's ramping up for another toy campaign. This time for his Reinbow the Brute IP. You know, that book that hasn't come out yet?

I see this as another fact-point in my theory that EVS doesn't actually want to do comics, but rather he wants to make toys. I think that's because he believes that toys is where the "real" money is, although I won't call anybody who thinks he just wants stuff he can use as bait to lure kids to his van an idiot.

My question for the rest of the Farms would be: What are your predictions for funding success/failure/levels?

It will be a success. Will it do as well as his previous toy campaign? Not by a long shot. NU CG is a fraction of the size of OG CG. But unlike his many unfulfilled comics campaigns he actually fulfilled on that one.

I think you're right that Ethan wants to make toys. He sure as shit doesn't want to make comics! This is also why the EJ/McFarlane deal really got a rise out of him.

Btw, I saw a stream the other day with Billy Tucci and Aaron Lopresti in which they both seemingly distanced themselves from Reethan without mentioning him by name. They emphasized that they actually fulfill on their campaigns and that, even if there are problems and they are late, people will still get what they paid for.

Without using any proof of theory or anything like that, I think it will do less than the Cyberfrog toys. I imagine he will make the goal small so he can get that dopamine hit of 5375% over goal, realize into production he didn't make enough, make another campaign to cover that coat which covers the other cost which covered the cost before which covere--- you get it.
Then they will rot in BigBadToystore's warehouse because no one who knows about Cyberfrog wouldn't have already bought them, and people who don't know what it is, aren't just going to buy them.

I picked up the audiobook as my monthly audiobook from Audible without looking at the price or length. Very poor use of that credit. I liked the book, but the $14.95 monthly fee was more than the cost of buying it instead... and it was a really short listen. On the positive side, I have always checked the price of the book before using the monthly credit on it ever since.

Yeah it's only 110 pages. I think it's meant for young adults but I'm happy to throw the guy $15. Better than a CG superchat, From every indication Flossy works pretty hard.

Hard to say because toy people come across as very autistic about production and quality. I watch Toy Galaxy (it's actually a pretty good channel) and even a guy who comes across as normal as he does is super autistic about production quality.
He doesn't have enough of a name in the toysphere, he's only known as that "right-wing comics guy", so I'm betting he'll have trouble attracting new fans but it's hard to say.
If he actually spends the money and makes something that's real quality, it might work out for him but I'm betting he'll be lazy about it.

As I recall, Evis has stated that his CF figures sold at a loss for him. How this is somehow going to change with RB might not be the point: he may feel the need to keep up appearances with an active crowdfunder at all times even though the Ponzi pattern is undeniable now.

Considering the failing quality of plastic due to recycling, having an adult advocate for better toys is necessary. If a toy breaks, the child gets all the blame when it is the toys that are becoming more fragile.

I'll be god damned. Look what just popped up on Twitter.

I honestly have no idea if this is actual figures or him shaking the tin cup for shekels to fund their production.

edit: it is (another) campaign launch. Dunno why I expected it to be anything else.
It's finally here! That thing that nobody asked for!!!

His co-host is Ban-Evadin' Shane Davis.

$45 (before shipping) for a doll.

Part of me agrees with other thread users that there should be a lawsuit or discovery on IGG and @FROG As frog grifts another crowd funder for toys. But its not @FROG's problem its the Backers problem.

Did the cars ever get delivered? the pit posters any one keeping up on fulfillment with these IGG grifters?
Thats a good point - whatever did happen to those cars?!

EVS claims everything is done at a loss. What he typically means is he puts what would be "profits" into additional production, so he can sell the additional items on his Ebay store for profits later. So he "loses" money on the campaign, but ends it with product in inventory.
