Personally, I think that "the plan" was for Trump to die last Saturday. Between all the weird stuff involved in the shooting itself, the massive short taken out the day before, etc, I feel any threshold for believing that this was a glowop is satisfied. But, by millimeters, he didn't die. In the wake of that massive fluke, the hydra has been scrambling to pick a new plan and move forward. If Elon Musk is correct that he's known for a week that Joe was dropping out to the day and time, well what was one week ago today? The day after the shooting failed. The moment the regime decided for certain Joe was out.

I have friends fretting that this feels planned and that we shouldn't get cocky, but I just don't get that sense at all. Everything since Saturday has felt extremely ad hoc. They decided they needed to swap out Joe and spent a week signalling to their base through the media that this would happen. Even with a week to prepare this coup behind the scenes, the execution is sloppy and sus.

The real question in my mind right now is of Joe's health and if some suddent health emergecy actually played a role in how all of this is unfolding.

It's win-win. If they fail to cheat they can say "She never had a chance, it's not because Trump won, it's because Biden stepped down gracefully, something Trump could never understand. His hateful base took advantage of this tragedy and forced him into office." If they succeed in cheating, they can say "She's the first black female running for president and ULTRA qualified based on being a one-term VP. Of course people would vote for her over an old white man who's a convicted felon!"

I remember when people doomed over how Obama would be the last president and everyone would be rounded up into camps and killed for population control. Those people were crazy but it's totally reasonable to assume a president's second term will be apocalyptic when his first was completely average.

According to Poso, Jill did not take the news well. My people irl think they are doing this because they are so confident in their rigging that they can just shove Kamala and Michelle in there or some shit.

I myself feel that we just witnessed another coup by the Dems and should just be glad they didn't pull another JFK that would have galvanized their base. I think the civil war within the party that we have talked about on here is finally spilling out into public view and the Obama and Clinton factions are out for blood against one another. The fact that Hillary is seemingly endorsing this is the weird part since you'd think she would be hellbent on being the first Madame President, she must have something cooked up. Watch and see though, they will have Kamala pardon Hunter and excuse any of Joe's bullshit a la Nixon/Ford. But it will be (D)ifferent and a good thing this time.

Biden likely has too many family connections to get the JFK treatment. Maybe if he refused to step down.

It's been over four hours and neither the Biden campaign site nor the White House has corroborated Biden not running again. The WH has had posts today but not about this. The lack of seal/letterhead and no actual public appearance is very suspicious. I'm of the opinion now that this is palace coup, trying to force him out, or the Old Man's Friend has finally stopped him by.

The Speaker does not move to the Vice Presidency unless both the President and the Vice President are dead, in which case the Speaker becomes President. If Biden is dead, then Kamala becomes President, and she can submit to the Senate her nomination for Vice President.
