"Orange Man Bad" unfortunately locks in about 30% of the nation.
Unfortunately for the Dems that 30% is primarily located in big cities. It's why they can win the popular vote while losing pretty spectacularly on the electoral college.

Counties win elections. Look at Trump's 2016 election map by county. It's a sea of red.

Yeah, I’m going back and forth watching FOX/CNN to get a feel for the spin from both parties. CNN is going on and on about Harris having the nod and how she will destroy Trump in a debate (lol). FOX is pointing out how the restoring democracy party is currently circumventing democracy by forcing a candidate who hasn’t won a thing.
Both suck monkey piss. It's not like FOX is relevant since they isolated their conservative fan base from Tucker's termination.

That's precisely how they get away with this fuckery though. It's why articles questioning Trump sweeping the bellwether countries while Biden still won went ignored.
"land doesn't vote, people do, bigot"

Usual trash take from David Hackman

Isn't that the same take half of bluetwitter has suddenly magically had? Pakman is literally getting talking points from the DNC. Amazing.

That isn't how it works, and even if it were, that would only change after Kamala got a VP.
Isn't it? If the president dies, VP becomes president and... do they get to pick their VP, or does the next in line of succession become VP? Or does congress pick a VP? I genuinely don't know the answer to that offhand.

Google and Bing search AIs have been explicitly told not to answer this very basic civics question. For some reason.

I knew the election was rigged before Trump uttered a word about it. I was watching the results at the time. At the point a few states were left with like 90%+ of the votes counted and Trump ahead in them I thought he would win, since he was ahead in EC, so I calculated what Biden would need to win each of the states that Trump was ahead in. It turned out he needed over 75% of the remaining votes in those states to beat Trump. So I thought Trump had it in the bag. Then somehow Biden got over 75% of the remaining votes in the states Trump was ahead in that he needed to win. So improbable it's basically impossible and I knew instantly there was fraud going on.
I remember going to sleep knowing that Trump was winning, then waking up and this dumbass chart was everywhere: 1721615150216.png
Checked and wow, Biden won a bunch of states overnight "somehow." It was surreal. If they try to pull it off again, who's not gonna notice?

Kamala's next speech is going to be the most important speech of her life. I think so many Political Wonks cannot understand this but a large volume of normal Americans don't care about the Vice President and I believe a shockingly high number couldn't even tell you who Harris or Mike Pence are. The one benefit she has is that Joe has made expectations so very low so she doesn't have to wow the public with something like Obama's 2004 DNC Speech. With that said it can't be milquetoast and if I were her speech writer it would be a disaster if it was a reused Biden "MUH DEMOCRACY AT STEAK" stump speech. She needs to exude optimism, do the typical political promises that we all know will not come into fruition.

As for her VP Pick it would only make sense for her to pick a Democratic Politician from the Rust Belt. So Josh Shapiro and Gretchen Whitmer, would make sense. I would be SO VERY HAPPY if she picked up my favorite Golem John Fetterman because the Queers for Palestine tears would be insanely delicious.

If Hershey Highwayman Pete Buttigig is Kamala's pick then I think they've thrown the towel and the two of them just want to enjoy a few months of the candidate life getting your butt kissed and staying in hotel suites. As much as this country has become socially liberal I refuse to believe voter mass will stomach a woman as president with a homosexual.

What an insane short period of time this has all been, and I'm bracing for more insanity. And tomorrow we get to witness Secret Service Cheatle be grilled for assassination attempt. 2016 still is the greatest shitshow I've ever gotten to see unfold but 2024 is now No. 2.

I do believe that people aren't going to buy it if the Dem candidate "wins" another "fortified" Presidential election this time around.

That said, there's totally going to be cheating in attempt to get enough House Dems to cross the finish line to win the majority.

So, cheating should still be a HUGE concern for the GOP, even if Trump wins by a massive electoral landslide.
even if the Democrats didn't try to cheat Congressional elections theres still enough braindead Progressive Millennials and Gen Zer's (Women especially) that will just vote Democratic regardless of the situation, I don't think Republicans are getting a supermajority in the House and even if they did theres still enough Centrist Republicans that will shoot down most policies the pro-Trump Republicans propose, as for the Senate it likely stays Democratic or goes 50-50
I knew he was a dipshit faggot but goddamn.

he's exceptionally bad spokesperson for the Democrats, I think that certain Democrat positions (at least Economically) would be a hell of a lot more appealing to voters who typically vote red if Democrats werent smug asshole anti-gun retards

The talking heads seem pretty confident that Harris will get the nod

interesting

They're just happy that Joe is out since they all know that they can't hide how awful Biden actually was anymore. It hasn't quite dawned on them yet that Kamala is no better and probably worse.

Kamala has to campaign now, and give campaign speeches now, and interact with potential voters now. By the time the convention rolls around I suspect that the media will be clamoring for someone else yet again.

Can somebody explain that chart? I don't want to state the obvious.

The gaslighting and bias going on right now to support Kamala is insane. Browsing the media places like X. Sure X still has plenty of sane people I follow but there's so much pretence and delusion now that Trump is failing, Kamala is amazing. Biden is amazing for dropping out. Media is already pushing all the anti-Trump and pro Kamala narratives.
The elites control the Democrat party and their messaging apparatuses, but that's not the same as controlling voters. Only a few deluded sheboons ever voted for Kamala, and now those sheboons and the Democrat elite are circling the wagons. The problem is, even in 2020 with what we know was a majorly fucked up and black swan election (even before counting the fraud), the electoral college came down to the votes of people who are not and never have been interested in Kamala's cackling, childless, dick sucking persona.

Let's say Kamala brings out more black women than Biden. How about the black men? How about the union guys in Michigan and Pennsylvania? How about the second generation Mexican blue collar workers in Nevada? The dems fellate people like Ezra Klein and Rachel Maddow so much that they forget that a candidate is supposed to win more than Manhattan in an election. Say what you want about Biden, but Scranton Joe was going to do better than Heels Up Harris in Pennsylvania.
