Ralph doesn't file or pay taxes.. he said as much during his "tax free" rant.

yeah i’m sure he says that, and don’t get me wrong there’s probably still some issues there but what’s likely is his lawyer helps him withhold a minimum, he donated the house to write off the value and the lawyer gave that back.

If anything it might be why taxes were on his mind in the first place and why he was coping about tax free, to help explain why he was getting the money back so he wouldn’t have to make it public he donated the shack his daddy gave him.

Furthermore ralph said he doesn’t pay taxes on his tips, that very well may still be true but he could still pay taxes on other income, through which he uses his lawyer (who is probably also a CPA) to help him withhold.

Yeah I knew he owed property taxes on it, but he could very well have donated it to get the church to pay some of the taxes and still write off the value of the property.

It’s even more likely presuming the county did not translate the debt into a lien yet (which I think is true) and therefore gain an actual property interest in the property. Ultimately he could very well have still come out with a write off even with taxes owed. It fits with him thinking about taxes and it fits with him saying the 20k came from his lawyer, who almost certainly is the one helping him do withholding. The idea ralph literally does not file at all is very unlikely. It’s been over 10 years, and paypal, all his banks etc all report to the IRS. He would have been interviewed by now.

Like i said his taxes could still be in a fucked state for a few reasons and he could still be looking at getting fucked by the IRS down the road but I suspect he was having the lawyer withhold a minimum amount at least to send something in for taxes and as I said, donating this property freed up some of that. He has said his taxes are in order in the past, of course we should never take what ralph says at full value but I view this as one of his “mostly false” type statements. His taxes aren’t right but he is at least filing so he dabs on the alogs by saying “my taxes are fine bish!!” This becomes even more likely if he already has a balance with the IRS from mistakes in the past.

Also since we are on this topic, regarding the truck, I suspected that he is depreciating that as a business asset which is why right after buying it he went to the capital to do “journalism” but idk if he was smart enough for that or had someone in his life smart enough to advise it. It would have helped justify his retarded note terms.
