The DNC convention starts August 19th right? That's plenty of time for them to get comfortable, have Harris do some speeches and debates and fail badly, and have them become even more divided on the best candidate to choose. If Biden comes out waving a cane yelling that he never agreed to that letter saying he'll not run again, then even more chaos.

The month gap between now and the convention itself is going to be the longest month in political history since the DNC have to utterly CRUSH any thought about a coup against Kamala to stop her coronation.

Especially if someone decides to, just to fuck with the Democrats over some real or imaginary slight, decides to pick a fight if only to ensure there is a huge god-damn riot outside the convention to make the optics of Kamala's coronation look as horrible as humanly possible in terms of the masses rejecting it.

You can hit the FOX and Rasmussen polls for decent right-leaning polls. Ipsos and Marist are alright on the left. YouGov is pretty boring and pisses off both sides... maybe Morning Consult? Your mileage may vary. NYT/Sienna for pure schizo takes.

I'm guessing the Trump campaign is saving their money for the last few months. Go after her record in California, talk about how Democrats subverted the will of the people by installing Kamala as nominee, her as the "border czar" since immigration is still a top issue, and the progressive stuff she advocated for when she was running in 2019. Trump needs to ignore them going after Project 2025 and go after how bad a Kamala Harris presidency would be and what he'll do for the economy and immigration (since those are the top issues with voters).

Reuters was still saying it was tied between Trump and Joepedo two weeks ago, and they are using heavily skewed D+5-9 weights.

There's going to be a Kamala swallows bump, but it's not going to change things. And PA seems to be going more and more red as more counties flip in voter registration to republican, which also fucks with blocking fraud.

This is one of the games the Dem Machine's polls and their allies in the media play. Once the nominees are know the first polls come out heavily-weighted in the D's favor to plant the seed for the people who want to go along with popular thought ans create the narrative that the Dem is up big. As the election gets close they'll tighten up until election day when they're finally more in line with reality to maintain credibility for the next cycle. That's how you see people touting some of these ridiculous polls showing Kamala with a lead by saying "this poll was spot on last election!" Well yeah that poll was accurate the day before the last election but it sure wasn't three months before where we are now.

Remind everyone, in every reference to her, that she is the Border Czar. Don't even call her Kamala, call her "Border Guard Harris". Make the association unavoidable. Trump's nicknames are effective because he uses them 100% of the time.

For the GOP, force her to speak publicly, off the teleprompter if possible. Every time she does, she loses votes. Circulate her worst moments, because the media is going to cover for her this time around.
