Josh is by far the most extreme example alcoholism I have ever seen. Fueled by autism and meds, Josh has reach a level of degeneracy that usually takes decades to build too. I must remind people that he is only 22 and didn't start drinking til he turned 21.

The current live stream has some nuggets including Josh telling his grandma to shut after breaking down to her about his alcoholism . He also seem to admitted that he is not welcomed at his grandpa's house though that conclusion is a little circumstance .

Mr Based motives are becoming transparently evil by this point. He seems genuine in the idea of slowing down Josh's alcohol consumption but still holds streaming as his key goal.

He repeating the content creator mantra at this point and thus either believes or convinced himself that he can somehow help Josh. He and Mayor Pot head are right in that Josh needs structure but that comes in the form of inpatient rehab not this supposed "job" he proposed for Josh. I doubt it will even get off the ground since Josh is refusing to tapper his consumption.

He is right that there is nothing he can do until Josh wants helps and of course there is the reality of who is going to pay for such treatment but I image Josh could swing it from setting up a gofundme.

Real talk, all Josh needs to do is check into detox, go MIA from the internet for week, then update the world of his situation. Explain where he is, why he isn't posting, and how people can support him and boom his stay is paid in full.

They have but there ain't shit people can do. At one point Josh was a regular at a bar called McSorely's until they got a letter from ADS looking to help Josh. At that point they banned him.

Josh maybe an idiot but he is a legal adult with rights and can and has refused help. There is no law against drinking yourself to death and hasn't committed any crime serious enough to warrant his freedoms to be taken away regardless of how beneficial that might be for him.

Indeed. One moment stands out in particular from a stream I watched a couple of days ago. Mr based and Josh were walking along the streets and Mr based asks Josh for a selfie so he can use it to promote his channel. Josh takes the photo and then says he'll only post it if Mr Based goes him a twisted tea (some college girl drink). Then Mr Based is like "well, he forced me to do it". It's like he is turning to the viewers and going like "see I'm not exploiting him. He made"

When all not enabling Josh's alcoholism would cost him is one, just one, less chance to plug his socials. And the insidious thing about that is Josh I going to walk away thinking he manipulated Mr Based.

Granted, I don't think Josh is as helpless and slow as people tend to believe.

I think it has a lot to do with the fact that his dad abandoned him when he was 15. I don't think it's a case of Josh attracting middle aged men mores, they are probably who he feels the most comfortable around. Speaking of Quinn there's this weird feud between him and Mr Based right now. It's very likely just keyfabe. Quinn is claiming Based drugged josh. He made a tik tok about it.

1. Mr Based is a creep. Like the way he talks and acts is so unsettling and repulsive.

2. He is a hypocritic. He will subject Josh to the TTS donations but the moment a TTS donation mentions Julie Sumnicht he will mute that donation the second he realises what topic they are bringing up.

3. He's a shameless eel using Josh for clout. The man is like nearly 60 and his begging an alcoholic autistic guy for selfies to boost his social media.

Some of the points you said about Josh are correct. He isn't a toddler and has responsibility for his own actions. And yeah, if he didn't decide that getting constantly blitzed was all he wanted in life then by now he would he a properly respected content creator

Absolutely. This site needs to modernise because some of the best cows are on TikTok. Some of us are going to have to bite the bullet and get a TikTok account. This site came around on Larson but they were pretty late in my book. To be frank, Joshua is universally recognises as a lolcow at this point and one of the biggest ones at that. It's honestly kinda embarrassing at this stage that the main forum for documenting lolcows doesn't have a proper thread on him. As of writing this message I'm writing an updated version of the OP in Google docs. It's probably gonna take a couple of days. In situations you have to put in the work in yourself rather than waiting for someone else to do it. I strongly encourage you to be the one that puts in the effort. I literally joined because I couldn't find the Joshua Block thread and thought it was only open to registered users. I was stunned to find out he has not graduated into being recognised as a lolcow.
