I have been a verified Mr. Beast hater for many reasons, but I had a thought I wanted to share here about his response and his role in all this.

I know the internet’s memory is short as fuck, but does anybody remember Joe Paterno? He was the head football coach at Penn State University and was beloved by the school. He was practically Mister Roger’s to them. The amount of philanthropy, donations, contributions to the school, and contributions to his player’s lives earned him a statue pre-mortem. There was quotes of him etched into the stadium walls like they were gospel. He was a saint. The students called him “Jo Pa” because his kindness and care within the student body made him like a father figure to many of them.

Then, pedophilic allegations came out about an assistant coach in his program (you may remember this name better); Jerry Sandusky. These allegations ended up being true, he touched young boys in showers, and it landed him in jail.

It was a huge scandal. It turned out that Joe knew about Jerry’s degenerate behaviors, but didn’t contact police or do anything about them out of concern over what it would do to the football program and school. While dying of cancer, Joe lost his position. His legacy was scrubbed from the school; his statue was torn down, his quotes were scraped off the walls, and his sacred fame turned into bitter infamy. Joe later died with his reputation ruined.

I’ve always believed Mr. Beast’s charity was a fucking scam that conveniently gave him a shield against all online criticism. He’s obsessed with money and image. The profit margin and amount of clout he receives from his videos trumps the charity he did smiling in front of a fucking camera. Yet, his fans parade him around like a patron saint.

I mean… Boogie just donated 3K to Saint Jude’s… does that just forgive him of lying his ass off? Plenty of billionaires who have pulled cons have charity foundations, does that make them innocent? This is a multi-year cover-up of one of his closest associates checking all the boxes of absolute degenerate pedophilic online behavior… and this is just the tip of the ice berg. People are still out here fucking defending this guy. Let it be known that Jimmy fucking knew, but his ego was too huge to call out Jerry Sandusky… He wasn’t concerned for the safety and well-being of his target audience, but about his shitty patron saint status on the internet.

So one employee did something negative at work today which garnered a company meeting. We are a small company with only 5 employees. So the boss has all 5 of us in a room and proceeds to lose his cool. He ends up screaming at all of us for one person mistake and says all of you could be outsourced at any time. My boss was my friend growing up but now he doesn’t want us to consider ourselves friends because we work together. Honestly reddit, this job is literally killing me. I’m having depression issues and want to leave but he offered me double my pay from my last job to come work with him. My fiancé works a decent job so I wouldn’t be on my ass if I went back to my last job. What should I do reddit.

Yeah that’s what I thought going into it but the money was too good to pass up and I had a wedding to pay for but thanks to this job I’ve payed off all me and my fiancés debt and our wedding and now I really don’t need to do anything else. The business is extremely successful and there will probably be raises in the future but I don’t know if money is worth it compared to being depressed.
