yes, multiple times and once in a more official capacity. it is not worth it in anything but bursts imho, and even that i would want a compensated and fairly heavy machine pistol than something like a Glock 18C. had one, demo'd it a few times, sold it on. completely worthless without a stock, and mediocre with a stock. there was utility in being able to brace it against a shield or something if there was a little shelf to rest it against. best situation i used was a micro UZI with the little folding stock and it was just heavy enough to be controllable fairly easily, but 20 rounds goes quick and outside of some very weird situations with armored car guards it still lack utility of a larger SMG.
they're good. i've used them in the military, and i've mounted them for some federal agencies now that the Word of God says that future FLETC training will require micro red dot proficiency. they're quite rugged and reliable if mounted professionally, which requires an inch-lb torque wrench and some locktite. there's better on the market though, especially if you want something like shake-awake or want to move it around to different pistols as needed.
Best SMG/platform, in your opinion? MP5 is a cop out, pick something else.
i have a soft spot for the Colt RO635, but imho if i couldn't use an MP5 of some flavor i would prefer something like the Sa 26 / Vz. 48 for serious work or the Jatimatic for meme value. i can accomplish a lot with a Sa 26 and some good 124gr 9mm ammo. they're relatively simple guns, easy to maintain, and are very tolerant of abuse while being pretty reliable with some care taken for ammunition quality.
Picatinny is the rail on top, primarily for sights. MLOK is generally on the sides as mounting points on the handguard.
They had were offered a deal to make the Panzer III and Panzer IV in late 1942 but they had to provide a percentage of the parts themselves. The Italians turned this offer down because they didn't want the Germans taking over their arms industry, and decided to upgrade their shitty locally made tanks instead.
Cmmg Banshee. Delayed blowback like the MP5, but you can actually mount stuff to it. Rate of fire is higher than mp5 though.
I’ve shot full auto converted Glocks (post sample) and they are pretty worthless even up close. I’m sure a stock would make it better, but at that point just use a proper SMG. Any shitty direct blowback SMG is still miles better.
I've had one and it turned off after 2 mags after installing it, wouldn't turn back on. With another fresh battery (I had put a new battery in when I installed it the first time) it flickered on and off and after a single magazine it turned off again and wouldn't turn back on. I got rid of it.
The rifle I’m looking at specifically says “MLOK free float handguard,” so that only applies to the other rails besides the top rail? I don’t understand why that would be the case but I’m willing to defer to your knowledge on the subject. With that being said, I have a rifle, Mapgul back ups, 225 rounds of ammunition, 5 extra mags and a carrying case picked out. I sincerely appreciate everyone brute forcing me into making a decent purchase.

At least they finally got rid of the star cut-outs on the triggers which looked like fucking stripper tattoos. Also not surprised they're jumping on the damascus trend; just like all the pens, card cases, rigid wallets/money clips, bottle openers, kitchen utensil sets, cheap pocket knives, etc.
