Pokémon (Not-So) Griefing Thread - Scarlet and Violet Released with 10 Million Copies in First 3 Days in Buggy States

The TCG used to be more consistent and balanced. Like 120 HP was the "HP cap" (as seen in the TCG game on GBC). But in the TCG now, basic pocketmons can have as much HP as fully evolved 'mons from the early TCG, and ordinary evolved 'mons can 1HKO legendaries and tough final evolutions from the early TCG. Guess it's that "power creep" thing.

It appears that TPCi is delaying the release of Shrouded Fable's Elite Trainer Boxes (regular and Pokémon Center-exclusive versions) due to a component suffering a manufacturing delay.

I'd normally be pissed about this since it's a special set and it'll be legal for Worlds but it's the only product being delayed, everything else is being released on schedule. It kind of makes me wish that they'd swap the release dates for the booster bundle and the ETBs but it's extremely wishful on my part.
A guy can scan unopened packs of cards. I wonder if this will impact sealed card packs lol.
I doubt it'll affect modern prices (TPCi can always up the pull rate to counteract scalping as we saw in the early SVI-era sets and most stores barring Amazon have a strict "no returns" policy for trading cards) but vintage packs are fucked.

Overpowered in Gen 1.

The only super effective moves were weak like Lick, or was Twineedle used by Beedrill (who could get outran and 1HKO'd by Psychics). And Special was both Special Attack and Special Defense, and Psychic types had high Special. With Gen 2, they really tried to balance it out by splitting the Special stat and introducing the Dark and Steel types.
The only practical way to do super effective damage against psychics in gen 1 is with a Pin Missile Jolteon, and even then your probably better off just trying to hit them with the strongest neutral damage you can. At least Alakazam has terrible physical defense if you can outspeed it.

"If we hate you we will fuck up your experience, and you can't do jack shit about it. We can cancel events at any time if we feel like it, and if you don't like it? Too bad."

Evolving that little shit in other games is going to be obnoxious.
Go will probably give you the option to change forms for a crazy amount of stardust and candy. I'm more concerned about SV's gimmick being implemented in Pokemon Go because it will screw up PvE and PvP. This won't happen for a long time because we're still missing megas and Galar Pokemon.

Shadow Ball could reduce Special Defense even though it was a Physical move, in Gen 2 and 3.

Maybe they really meant Dark to be Physical and Ghost Special but messed up? Gen 4 fixed it.

No kanto because fuck kanto
Kanto is kinda boring, when compared to Hoenn: land realm of "too much water", and trumpets.

Good hackroms like emerald enhanced? No kanto because fuck kanto
I'm currently playing thru Revelation Emerald and I am having a blast. Well, I'm a little frustrated because the romhack locked the Kanto starters and Celebii behind the 12 minute tier in Trainer Hill and I'm having trouble finding any good tips and tricks for it, but the rest of the game is very good. I'm planning to do a short writeup about it once I am 100% done, but it's essentially what would happen if Emerald got an even more updated version, it's the ultimate way to experience Gen 3 Hoenn with all the QoL changes you can think of, but minimum changes to the actual game mechanics except for physical/special split that only makes the game better. Playing thru the game was like playing Emerald for the first time all over.

Did you enjoy EE? I remember liking it but finding it a bit buggy.
It ia buggy and I was locked out of several quests, the romance stuff is totally cringe vit I loved the expansion to the normal hoenn map, the new mons, the quest system, the freedom to not use HM, fast travels and so on.

Gatcha games that hate you are not the way.
>implying I use actual money to buy things in the game
How are you fucking idiots playing this game? You can EASILY not spend a DIME on this thing and still have enough items in stock.

Only time I've gotten those golden pokemon coins is when I leave my pokemon at the gyms and I only spend them to increase my item bag capacity. Last time I touched this thing (which was like months ago) i had like 200 great balls. Once you git gud at curveballing, shit is easy as fuck.
