All these spoiled "artists" just go to show how illegitimate art schools can be.

For some insight, your first year of art school will cover foundations, and Rory does have the skills to pass those classes easily. Later on is when their work ethic will be tested, as well as whether or not they can stand making connections with icky cis (and I suppose bisexual as well as heterosexual?) people.

Thanks for the insight so basically the second year is when all hell will break loose and she'll throw a shitfit because she actually has to behave like civilized member of society?

Art education that is actually good is really hard to come by. Ringling is pretty good but their tuition is insane. Most people go to art school for connections. Companies go to schools to do talent scouting. The for-profit schools are usually abysmal, but cheaper in comparison to private schools. If you want good and affordable art education I'd go to places as Schoolism. Which is 15 dollar/month for self study and 1000$ per course with teacher feedback.

My friend actually is graduating from art school this year and has noticed that the freshmen become more and more obnoxious, in the SJ/progressive way. Instead of harmless cringy weebs/furries, like Rory they're pretentious and up their ass about being progressive.

There's been some well-documented cases of cancer fakers for profit, but I think that's a bit different than someone claiming to be part of a socially marginalized group. Cancer fakers were mostly doing it for the money/gifts/attention and people like Rory are doing it for progressive Tumblr cred. Some of the frauds were pretty sophisticated, too, and certainly a lot more effort than the tucute peanut gallery on Tumblr is willing to put in.

Faking something like being trans or being mentally ill is the low-hanging fruit of lying about medical conditions. For as much as I'd love to see a Down syndrome faker, I really doubt someone would do it. Being trans is stylish and non-confirming; having Down syndrome means you're just retarded.

Here we have nice colors, good line weight, a slightly dopey expression but nothing too bad. Overall, not a bad piece of art.

While the characters do have some huge noses, The difference in the styles of the character's hair (left being spikey and right being round) is a nice touch to show personality, and the stylization isn't too blaring.

You can see here that Rory's full body anatomy was never really all that great, but there was something to it, like distribution of weight being mostly proper and the lines being interesting to look at. The pose is also unique, compared to her current stuff which is all the same.

Rory has always had a problem with large limbs being too simplified (ruby on the right having meat tubes for legs) and arm lengths being too long (sapphire on the left being the best example), but the style of the characters and the simplicity of them doesn't make it too glaring or gross to look at unless you stare for too long.

Undertale canon bullshit aside, the anatomy in this pic is atrocious. Undyne (left) has no anatomy whatsoever, with noodle limbs in full force and legs that go from skinny to wide as hell at the heel, awful hands that don't make any sense (seriously, try to put your thumb like that), and a face only a mother can love. Not to mention Mettaton (right) has one huge hand and one small one, calves that somehow bend forward, and a lower body twice the mass of his upper body.

She's always had a problem with sameface though.

All she draws follow the same formuka of tiny squinty eyes, huge nose that's either a triangle or a bump and then those ridiculously puffy lips that tend to stick out to the side.
It's just become more exaggerated with time.

Same with how she draws limbs: thick upper limbs, a bump near the joint, then a toothpick, but the hands and feet looks like mitts.
