Donald Trump would prefer to face Kamala. No other candidate in the entire election cycle this time around has the level of burdened past that Kamala does. Rumors have swirled about her sexual behaviors and prostitution-like approach to climbing the social ladder. No other Democratic candidate is likely to have as much dirt on him or her as Kamala does. She also has more disgruntled former staffers than most candidates, by a long shot. If Donald Trump wants to pull out these cards, he needs to wait until she's already nominated and ballot deadlines have passed.

I've been saying this for days. No need to do ANYTHING with her until she's officially the nominee. It's a waste of money and attention. If she's not the final candidate, she also can't do any damage to her own side allowing for risky messaging. Debating now would be the worst move because any wins could be erased with a candidate swap and any losses will be carried on regardless.

I've been hearing that the "weird" stuff they're pushing is to convince people that "you" (Republicans or anyone that disagrees with the Establishment) are not the silent majority- you're the outlier. Except not only are there a million ways to judo Harris with that kind of messaging, trying to other people as deviants does not work when you're deliberately trying to destroy the country.

I’m 78% convinced it’s because actual children are running the Kamala campaign. She’s had such abysmal turnover with employees since she first became VP, I can’t imagine she’s getting the best and brightest now.
Combine that with a losing hand, and I imagine most of the good democratic campaign managers/PR people/marketers/etc. said “thanks, but no thanks” when offered a job.
So that leaves her stuck with the worst, or with recent grads. All of whom are incompetent enough to think the most retarded mudslinging possible will be what works.

And the worst (or perhaps best, given the general disposition of this thread) thing is that this is only the start. Kamala hasn’t gone through any attrition yet. Hasn’t had to deal with the fog of war. Hasn’t had to respond to the scathing attacks that will come.
In other words, we haven’t seen her “basket of deplorables” moment yet. But we will. And it will be so much worse. And thus, so much more glorious.
