It’s a shame too. I’m not even against religion (though I’ll admit my personal bias against it), but I notice how with super religious households, it’s a 50/50 shot as to whether they’ll be anti-fun scolds who see demonic influence in anime, or they’re edgy failures and sexual degenerates like Shadman here.
