For those of you who are unaware Baeddelism was a weird tumblr transfem thing that was all about how the root of all oppression was from femininity. They were super misogynistic towards TIFs because as men they couldn't experience oppression, apparently. It's weird to see a holdout of this ideology in the wild, not because it isn't relevant anymore but because so much of their belief system has been absorbed into mainstream trans ideology it seems pointless.

It's funny, a decent chunk of those people descended from Scottish plantation owners in Ireland. Not necessarily ethnic Irish themselves.

These types just looked up "great great granddad came through Ellis Island from County blah blah blah in Ireland" and leave it at that, ignoring that there's a solid chance said ancestor was a big bad evil colonizer themselves.

If it helps it leaves only the similarly crazy (their peers) or the similarly crazy on the opposite side of the political spectrum (the nazis) to bother them. I'm guessing I'm not the only non-nazi person who sees a DNI and doesn't even bother to interact with them.

No, I'm being over the top. Basically if you look at something, say "nope, I'm out", and continue on with your day, you count as "pro-ship". If you encounter the same thing, leave comments calling for the murder of the author, and then go forth and tell everyone how purely evil said author is and (hopefully) hound the author into suicide, then you're anti-ship.
