How do you even logically handle people like this? As a massive sports institution, banning trannies makes perfect sense since there's been no concrete causal relationship tied to transgenderism at all that's immutable (i.e. no proof anyone is born like that), but banning intersex people, which IS an immutable condition, seems waaaaay more difficult to judge. There's no question, there's ways to objectively prove these people exist, so are they including them out of pity? Would banning them be seen as pity? There's no easy answer.
Intersex people can usually figure out whether they are 'meant to be' a boy or a girl from pretty early on - you never really encounter any that are a 50/50 without them actively trying to make it so, and any such person is essentially a tranny rather than an intersex person trying to make their way in the world - so for the ones that are essentially disabled boys, there's no issues. They would compete in the men's events and do worse than the average man.
For the girls I feel more sorry, as there is really no fair way to allow them to compete in women's events, and they also shouldn't be forced to compete against men if they are essentially disabled women. So they just have to play in mixed/open sports.
A bunch of sports have tried to use testosterone testing to ensure that the XXXXXY (or whatever) competitors like Semenya are within the standard range for women's testosterone levels, but I think that's oversimplifying things. But maybe that's the only way to allow such women to compete. To be honest, a better question to ask is whether they have any more 'right' to compete in able-bodied sports than other disabled people do.
