The funny thing is that’s the reason why he won’t get what he wants. You can’t put the guy into any sort of care home because he’ll torture the poor staff and the other residents (who actually need to be there) to the point where they have to kick him out. The thing with Andy is that he has such an obsession with diapers, that there are moments in these encounters where everything revolves around them (such as in some moments where Andy throws a tantrum because Joe and his father allegedly threw out his diapers when he did it himself). Deadwingdork also mentioned how he's a "cry-bully" where he acts sad and shit in an attempt to get his way, which also adds to his tactics. I would love to see if his antics get him anywhere in prison.

He allegedly only has an IQ of 80 or 88...I've seen both figures so if that's true it means him mimicking shit is always going to be doomed to fail. Of course any IQ test is highly questionable considering how he'll taint the topic with lies. I've said it before but he's the dumbest sociopath on the planet. He has all the hallmarks of one yet lacks any intelligence to really do anything to benefit for long.

Also if he has schizoaffective disorder like the doctors say, he's basically trying to piece together a bunch of disjointed bullshit in his head. This is especially obvious when he's being confronted by police/hospital staff. He'll flip from Baby Andy to Lawyer Andy and you can see practically every neuron in his stupid brain firing off trying to balance the two.

I don't think it's entirely patience that they had for Andy. He did get some form of disability check which the family used to pay for the home and expenses. It was something to keep money flowing since both his parents are too old to work, and I don't believe Joe, his brother is able to care for all four of them alone.

But I also think they had simply a hard time getting rid of him. He wasn't truly disabled so they couldn't institutionalize him. I don't know why they didn't press charges when he TRIED TO POISON AND KILL ALL OF THEM. Maybe because they thought he'd come to his senses, but at this rate. Andy has embodied his fetishes and his unwillingness to return to work. He's become the man-child he pretends to be.

I have mixed thoughts on this. There was a period of time where Andy had his own apartment, but IIRC he lost it because of terrible money management. I don't know if this happened before or after he decided to LARP as a sped.

In one of the cop visit videos, the one about the oil diffuser I think, Andy sarcastically asks his family why they "don't let him move out" or "get him an apartment." His mother says they can't afford it. A cop asks why they can't use his disbultee check and she says it's because he "spends it all on Amazon." His father apparently has some control over his check but we don't know to what degree. All of these quotations are paraphrased FWIW.

There's just a lot of general dysfunction, physical infirmity of the parents, and at this point all around emotional fatigue in the family that affects any decision making. Joe appears the most capable but there is still only so much he can do and should do. And at least J-O-E has a J-O-B.

so there is good news..and bad news i guess. the good news? i was told by the otherwise useless cop on the other end of the line that there will be NO charge for the bodycam footage! i had to practically pull teeth to get any info about this, but..the bad news? there are 100 people ahead of me. its going to be a minute, needless to say. that said, as we all know things can change, but as of now, it looks like this wont cost anything, which makes it a lot easier, for sure.
